The present invention relates to a dryer control method comprising: an air supply step for supplying air to a drum via an air supply unit; a first agitation step for controlling a drive unit so that the drum carries out a second motion and a third motion from when the air supply step begins until a preset reference time is reached; and a second agitation step for controlling the drive unit so that the drum carries out a first motion, the second motion and the third motion from when the reference time is reached until the completion of the air supply step.

Dryer control method

Disclosed herein is a method of controlling a laundry dryer for generating high-temperature steam through a steam part and controlling each of rotation of a drum and rotation of a circulation fan. The method includes a steam drying procedure drying operation of increasing an internal temperature of the drum to dry an object to be dried, a steam drying procedure steam supply operation of supplying steam into the drum after the steam drying procedure drying operation, and a re-drying operation of supplying hot air into the drum after the steam drying procedure steam supply operation. When steam is sprayed from the steam part, the rotation of the drum is maintained, the rotation of the circulation fan is stopped, such that the steam is evenly supplied to the object to be dried, damage to the object is prevented, and sterilization of the object is enhanced.

A method controls a laundry treatment apparatus that includes a drum in which a target object to be dried is put, a drum motor to drive the drum, an air duct to guide air into the drum, a heat pump provided in the air duct to dehumidify and heat the air, a blower fan to move the air of the air duct, and a blower motor to drive the blower fan. The method includes a drum driving step for repeatedly driving the drum by accelerating and decelerating the drum, a steam supply step for supplying or stopping steam for a predetermined time during execution of the drum driving step, and an air supply step for circulating internal air of the drum during execution of the drum driving step. The circulation of the internal air of the drum is stopped during execution of the steam supply step.

Method for controlling laundry treatment apparatus

A control method for a drying machine according to one exemplary embodiment is applied to a drying machine which selects at least one of a heat pump system and a heater to use as a heat source for heating air to be supplied into the drum. The control method includes activating the heat pump system when both of the heat pump system and the heater are selected as the heat source, and determining whether or not a compressor included in the heat pump system normally operates. Whether or not to use the heater as the heat source is decided according to whether or not the compressor normally operates.
