A display device is disclosed. The display device may include: a display panel; a frame positioned behind the display panel; a substrate positioned between the display panel and the frame, and coupled to the frame; a plurality of light sources positioned on the substrate and providing light to the display panel; a diffusion plate positioned between the display panel and the plurality of light sources; and a film coupled to the substrate between the diffusion plate and the substrate, and through which the plurality of light sources pass, wherein the film includes a spacer depressed toward the diffusion plate from a rear surface of the film and supporting the diffusion plate.

Display device

A display device is provided. The display device includes: a display panel; a frame disposed at a rear of the display panel; a substrate and an optical assembly which are disposed between the display panel and the frame and are disposed on the frame, wherein the frame includes: a bottom having a first optical distance from the display panel; and a side support having a second optical distance, which is smaller than the first optical distance, from the display panel, wherein the substrate includes: a first plurality of substrates disposed on the bottom of the frame; and a second plurality of substrates disposed on the side support of the frame, wherein a spacing between the first plurality of substrates is greater than a spacing between the second plurality of substrates.

A display device according to the present invention comprises: a display panel; a middle cabinet for mounting the display panel; and a foam pad which is interposed between the display panel and the middle cabinet, and has a light absorbing material formed in either an area having a contact surface with the display panel or a contact surface with the middle cabinet. The display device of the present invention may be connected to an artificial intelligence module, a robot, an augmented reality (AR) device, a virtual reality (VR) device, a device related to a 5G service, etc.

Disclosed is a display device. The display device of the present disclosure may include: a display panel; a frame located at a rear side of the display panel; a substrate located between the display panel and the frame, wherein the substrate is coupled to the frame and extends in a longitudinal direction; a plurality of light sources mounted on the substrate, wherein each of the plurality of light sources are spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction of the substrate; a plurality of lenses coupled to the substrate, wherein the plurality of lenses cover the plurality of light sources; and a bar coupled to the substrate, wherein the bar connects each of the plurality of lenses.

A display device is disclosed. The display device of the present invention comprises: a display panel; a frame positioned at the back of the display panel; a main optical assembly positioned on the frame between the display panel and the frame; and a side optical assembly positioned on the frame between the display panel and the frame, and positioned adjacent to the main optical assembly, wherein the frame comprises: a bottom forming a lower surface; and a side support extending from the bottom toward one side of the display panel, wherein: the side support is closer to the display panel than the bottom; the main optical assembly is positioned on the bottom; and the side optical assembly can be positioned on the side support.

Disclosed herein are a backlight unit and a display device using the same. In an embodiment, the backlight unit includes a substrate, at least one light source on the substrate, a lenses placed over the light source, a reflection sheet in which at least one through hole corresponding to the lens is formed, and a reflection ring comprising an opening portion corresponding to the at least one light source, and placed between the lens and the substrate. In accordance with an embodiment of the present invention, luminance uniformity of the backlight unit can be improved because the reflection ring surrounding the light source is included.

A display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: a substrate; a light-emitting unit including a light emitting element mounted on the substrate and a lens placed above the light-emitting element; a reflective layer placed on the upper surface of the substrate; an optical sheet placed above the reflective layer and placed at a height at which the optical sheet is spaced from the light-emitting unit; and a display panel placed on the upper surface of the optical sheet, wherein the lens has a cutout portion formed therein by depressing a part of the side surface thereof toward the center thereof, thereby providing an anisotropic light distribution.

Display apparatus

A backlight unit and a display device including the same are provided. The display device includes: a bottom cover; a backlight unit in which a light assembly is disposed in at least one corner area of the bottom cover; and a light arriving portion formed by bending at least one corner area of the bottom cover, wherein the backlight unit includes: a substrate coupled to the light arriving portion and in which a first surface in which the light assembly is disposed and a second surface bent from the first surface are provided, and at the first and second surfaces, a plurality of leads connected to the light assembly are disposed.

The present invention provides an optical assembly, a backlight unit having the same, and a display apparatus thereof, and the optical assembly includes: a light emitting device; and a lens disposed above the light emitting device, and the lens has: a lower surface portion through which light emitted from the light emitting device travels inside; an upper surface portion that totally reflects at least some of the light traveling inside through the lower surface portion, downward to the side; and a side portion through which the light totally reflected from the upper surface portion is discharged to the outside.
