A display system includes a display device including a plurality of pixels and a sensing circuit that senses degradation information of the pixels, and a power supply that supplies a power to the display device or stops a supply of the power to the display device. The sensing circuit senses first degradation information of pixels in a first area in which a logo is displayed after the power supply supplies the power to the display device and before the display device displays a logo image including the logo, and senses second degradation information of pixels in a second area other than the first area in a display area after the display device displays the logo image and before the display device displays a normal image not including the logo.

Display system and method of driving the same

A pixel circuit includes a light emitting element including a first electrode and a second electrode, a first switching element including a control electrode, a second switching element, a third switching element, a sensing resistor and a fourth switching element. The first switching element applies a first power voltage to the first electrode of the light emitting element. The second switching element applies a data voltage to the control electrode of the first switching element. The third switching element senses a signal of the first electrode of the light emitting element. The sensing resistor includes a first end connected to the second electrode of the light emitting element and a second end which receives a second power voltage. The fourth switching element senses a signal of the second electrode of the light emitting element.

Pixel circuit, display apparatus including the same and method of driving the same

A display device includes a controller, a panel driver, and a voltage generator. The controller generates a first control signal and generates image data and a second control signal in response to first and second image signals. The panel driver generates a driving signal in response to the image data and the first control signal to drive a display panel. The voltage generator generates a driving voltage to drive the display panel and changes a voltage level of the driving voltage in response to the second control signal. The first image signal corresponds to a second frame located before a third frame in which the driving voltage is changed. The second image signal corresponds to a first frame located before the second frame. The controller generates image data corresponding to the second frame in response to the first image signal and the second image signal.

Display device having adjusted driving voltage based on change in image signal

A pixel includes a capacitor including a first electrode and a second electrode, a first transistor which generates a driving current, a second transistor which applies a data voltage to the first electrode of the capacitor, a third transistor which applies an initialization voltage to the second electrode of the capacitor, a fourth transistor which generates a leakage current in response to a dimming signal, and a light emitting element which emits light based on a residual driving current, where the residual driving current is obtained by subtracting the leakage current from the driving current.

A display device includes a display unit which includes pixels, an emission driver which applies an emission control signal for allowing the pixels to emit light, and a signal controller which receives a data enable signal including an active period and a blank period during which an image signal is inputted and outputs a control signal for controlling the emission driver such that an emission period of the pixels is changed in response to a blank period.

Display apparatus and driving method thereof

A display device may include a backlight unit, a display panel, and a backlight driver, and a panel driver. The backlight unit may include light source blocks including a first light source block. The display panel may include dimming regions including a first dimming region and respectively overlapping the light source blocks. The first dimming region may overlap the first light source block. The backlight driver may control a turn-on period and a turn-off period of each of the light source blocks. The panel driver may sequentially provide scan signals to the dimming regions for controlling light transmission of the dimming regions. A turn-off period of the first light source block may start before a scan period of the first dimming region and may end after the scan period of the first dimming region. The first dimming region may receive corresponding scan signals in the scan period.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel, a data driver, a gate driver, and a controller. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels. The data driver provides data voltages to the plurality of pixels through data lines during an active period of a frame period and provides a blank voltage to the plurality of pixels through the data lines during a blank period of the frame period. The gate driver provides a gate-on voltage to the plurality of pixels through gate lines during the active period and provides a gate-off voltage to the plurality of pixels through the gate lines during the blank period. The controller controls the data driver and the gate driver. The blank voltage increases and the gate-off voltage increases, when a time in the blank period reaches a predetermined time.

Display device and method of operating the same

A three-dimensional image display device includes: a display panel assembly including a display panel including pixels which alternately displays first and second images, and a data driver which transmits data voltages to the pixels; a backlight unit which provides light to the display panel assembly; and a shutter member including first and second shutters, where the backlight unit emits the light during light emitting periods, the light emitting periods includes first light emitting periods, during which the first image is displayed, and second light emitting periods, during which the second image is displayed, the first light emitting periods and the second light emitting periods alternate, and the first shutter is opened during at least two open periods, which are between neighboring second light emitting periods of the second light emitting periods and temporally spaced apart from each other.
