A flexible display device includes: a substrate including a main area, a first edge area arranged in a first direction with respect to the main area and including a first data pad portion, and a second edge area arranged in a second direction, which intersects the first direction, with respect to the main area and including a second data pad portion; and a flexible film on which first and second signal pad portions connected to the first and second data pad portions, respectively, are arranged. The first edge area may be bent along a first bending line, which extends in the second direction, and the second edge area may be bent along a second bending line, which extends in the first direction.

A head mounted display device includes a display unit divided into at least one first area and at least one second area, a lens unit which supplies an image displayed on the display unit to a user, and a frame which fixes the display unit and the lens unit thereto. The display unit includes a memory which stores first compensation data corresponding to the first area and second compensation data corresponding to the second area, and a position determiner which determines whether first data supplied from an outside belong to the first area or the second area.

Method and system to detect orientations of a moving object using one or more magnetic compasses. The method and system minimize magnetic field interference in a space where an object is moving such that the orientations of the moving object can be precisely detected. The method includes setting one or more earth magnetic field (EMF) conditions without a magnetic field interference component to determine whether the one or more magnetic compasses are located in an EMF area, calculating a magnitude of a magnetic field applied to the moving object using the one or more magnetic field compasses, and detecting an orientation of the moving object by determining whether the calculated magnitude of the magnetic field satisfies the one or more EMF conditions.
