When a main power from a main battery of a vehicle is interrupted (or cut off), an auxiliary power supplied from an auxiliary battery may be used to drive electrical components of the vehicle. The vehicle includes: a main battery to supply the main power; the auxiliary battery to supply an auxiliary power; and an image recording controller to operate with the main power, capture and record an image of surroundings of the vehicle. In particular, when the supply of the main power is interrupted, the image recording controller performs capturing and recording the image by receiving the auxiliary power, controls a supply path of the auxiliary power so that the auxiliary power is supplied to a predetermined electrical component of the vehicle to continuously operate the predetermined electrical component using the auxiliary power.

Vehicle and method of controlling the same

The present disclosure provides a power management apparatus of a vehicle and a method of controlling the same, for determining whether a power circuit of a vehicle controller is abnormal. The power management apparatus includes a battery, a battery sensor configured to acquire voltage information of the battery, and a controller configured to receive the voltage information of the battery, to compare a second voltage and a third voltage with preset reference information, and to determine whether power is abnormal, wherein a first voltage is measured by the controller, the second voltage is adjusted by converting the first voltage into a digital signal, and the third voltage is measured by the battery sensor.

System and method for controlling a dark current of a vehicle

An apparatus for cutting off dark current, and a method of controlling the apparatus are provided. The apparatus for cutting off dark current includes: a communicator to receive an input signal of a remote keyless entry (RKE) remote control from a body control module (BCM); a controller to determine whether the received input signal of the RKE remote control satisfies conditions for changing a dark current control mode of the apparatus, and to send out a control signal to change the dark current control mode upon determination that the input signal of the RKE remote control satisfies the conditions for changing the dark current control mode; and a switch to maintain the changed dark current control mode based on the sent out control signal.
