An earphone system for a mobile device is provided. The earphone system includes an earphone interface with a plurality of contacts for accepting an earphone jack corresponding to 3- or 4-pole earphones, a controller with a plurality of ports for communicating with the earphones that are connected to the earphone interface via the earphone jack, and an earphone compatible circuit. The earphone compatible circuit controls the connection states between the contacts of the earphone interface and the ports of the controller, according to the type of earphone jack inserted into the earphone interface. The earphone compatible circuit connects corresponding contacts of the earphone jack to ports of the controller.

The device includes a display unit including a left display and a right display for a left eye and a right eye for displaying images for the left eye and the right eye, a vital reaction sensor unit including a first vital reaction sensor for the left eye and a second vital reaction sensor for the right eye, detecting vital reaction changes of a user viewing the left display and the right display, and generating, when a vital reaction change is detected, an interruption signal including coordinates of a position at which the vital reaction change is detected, and a control unit for outputting images for the left eye and the right eye to the display unit.

Head mounted display device and image display control method therefor

A method and apparatus for controlling a device in electronic equipment having a plurality of devices are provided. The apparatus includes a power supply for supplying power, a slave device including a driving circuit operated according to the supplied power for transmitting and receiving data to and from another device, a switching circuit for connecting the driving circuit to a ground terminal when the switching circuit is turned-on and for opening the driving circuit from the ground terminal when the switching circuit is turned-off, and a host device for transmitting a control signal for turning-on the switching circuit when driving the slave device and for turning-off the switching circuit when not driving the slave device. When the device is not driven, the switching circuit may open a driving circuit from a ground terminal, thereby cutting-off leakage of an electric current through the device.

Method and apparatus for controlling device in electronic equipment

A reset circuit and a reset method of a portable terminal are provided. The reset circuit of a portable terminal includes an input unit for generating a certain input signal for reset according to a user input, a reset unit for generating a manual reset input signal according to an input of the certain input signal, for performing a control operation to cut-off power to be supplied to a Power Management IC (PMIC) using a signal generated during an operation maintenance time interval of the portable terminal and the manual reset input signal, and for performing a control operation to resupply the power to the PMIC according to an input signal from the input unit or completion of a preset timer, and a power supply unit for supplying the power.

Reset circuit and method of portable terminal

A method and apparatus of resetting a mobile device including a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) with no manual reset function are provided. The apparatus includes an input unit for creating a specific input signal for a reset according to a user's input. The apparatus includes a reset unit for creating a manual reset input signal in response to the specific input signal, and for blocking battery power supplied to the PMIC by using the manual reset input signal and a signal created during operations of the mobile device. The reset apparatus includes a power unit for supplying the battery power.
