A method and an electronic device are disclosed. The method includes obtaining an image, obtaining information of the image, obtaining content information of content included in the image, obtaining related information which relates to the image based on at least one of the information of the image and the content information, and classifying the image into at least one category based on a plurality of defined information/data elements and a relation among the information/data elements and metadata of the image.

Method and apparatus for notifying status of mobile node in a wireless local area network system using visible light communication

A method for retransmitting data when data transmission/reception has failed in a wireless LAN system using visible light communication. A mobile node searches a received frame for a fast feedback slot allocated for retransmission information when momentary data transmission/reception failure has occurred. One mini-slot from among the plurality of mini-slots is selected from the fast feedback slot. The mobile node transmits a fast feedback message, including information for retransmission, to an access point by using the selected mini-slot.
