One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for delivering video streams are provided. In an example, a first video stream chunk of a video stream is received. The first video stream chunk is transmitted to a first client device in response to a determination that the first video stream chunk is not associated with a quality issue. A second video stream chunk of the video stream is received. The second video stream chunk is analyzed to determine whether the second video stream chunk is associated with one or more quality issues. A first quality issue associated with the second video stream chunk is detected. A request for a corrective video stream chunk is transmitted to a cache node based upon the first quality issue. The corrective video stream chunk is received from the cache node. The corrective video stream chunk is transmitted to the first client device.

Detecting a quality issue associated with a video stream delivery

A device may detect an event during execution of a particular application of the device. As part of detecting the event, the device may detect a closing of the particular application or may detect a calendar event. The device may identify a sequence of applications related to the event based on information identifying the event and may present graphical information identifying the sequence of applications. The device may detect selection of graphical information identifying another application from the graphical information identifying the sequence of applications, and may initiate the other application based on detecting the selection of the graphical information identifying the other application.

Navigating between applications of a device

A user device may receive a web page having multiple different types of content (e.g., text, images, videos, etc.). The user device may identify the different types of content, and may generate reformatted pages that each include a particular type of content associated with the web page. For instance, one reformatted page may include text content of the web page, without including image content of the web page (and/or vice versa). The reformatted pages may include resized and/or repositioned versions of the original content (e.g., resized and/or reformatted images and/or text).

Dissociative view of content types to improve user experience

An approach is provided for rendering a representation of a three-dimensional object in a user interface. The approach includes determining an arrangement of one or more user interface elements based on user profile information, content information, contextual information, or a combination thereof. The approach also includes rendering a representation of a three-dimensional object in a user interface, wherein the representation includes one or more surface segments. The approach also includes associating the one or more user interface elements respectively with the one or more surface segments based on the arrangement. The user interaction input manipulates the representation of the three dimensional object within in a virtual three-dimensional space to expose the one or more user interface elements associated with the one or more surface segments that are visible in the user interface.

Method and system for providing adaptive arrangement and representation of user interface elements

A user device may: receive a search selection; and display a search box concurrently with application or page from which the search selection was received. The search box may be displayed without the user device navigating to another application or another page. The user device may output a search query based on search terms inputted into the search box; receive search results to the search query; and display or outputting the search results.

Pop-up search box

A device may receive one or more preferences for providing a message-based data service. The device may receive, in a text message and from a mobile device, a content request. The content request may identify content to be obtained via a data connection. The device may filter the content request, based on the one or more preferences, to generate a filtered request. The device may obtain the content based on the filtered request and via a data connection. The device may process the content to prepare the content for providing in a text message. The device may provide the content to the mobile device in a text message after processing the content.

Providing content to a child mobile device via a parent mobile device

A device receives trick play signals during a playing of content. The device determines a trick play being request based on the trick play signals. The device further estimates a length of an available time period based on the trick play and information regarding at least one other trick play. The at least one other trick play occurred prior to the trick play. The device also retrieves an advertisement for the available time period based on a length of the available time period. The advertisement is one of a plurality of advertisements of different lengths. The device displays the advertisement, on a display, during the available time period.

A controller device, implemented in a repeating system associated with a vehicle, may activate an antenna device included in the repeating system to cause the antenna device to receive a network signal and transmit an amplified network signal, corresponding to the network signal, to an area around the vehicle; and cause an amplification device, included in the repeating system, to receive the network signal, amplify the network signal to form the amplified network signal, and provide the amplified network signal for transmission by the antenna device.

An exemplary power management system detects a signal level representative of an environmental condition external to a mobile device, determines that the signal level is within a predetermined range, and disables, in response to the determination that the signal level is within the predetermined range, a feature of the mobile device. Power management methods and systems for a mobile device

A device may extract menu information associated with a first application. The menu information may identify hierarchical menu items corresponding to at least two levels of a menu hierarchy associated with a first menu of the first application. The device may receive configuration information that controls a manner in which the hierarchical menu items are to be provided for display. The device may execute the first application to cause first information, associated with the first application, to be provided for display. The device may execute a second application that provides the hierarchical menu items for display. The second application may be different from the first application. The device may provide the hierarchical menu items for display concurrently, via a second menu overlaid on the first information associated with the first application, based on the configuration information and further based on executing the second application.

Providing a configurable menu of hierarchical menu items

A user device may be used to prevent a driver of a vehicle from driving while drowsy. The user device may create a driver profile for the driver and collect driving data while the driver is driving the vehicle. The driver profile may include information regarding the driver's propensity to drive while drowsy and the driving data may include information regarding whether the driver is exhibiting drowsy behaviors and how long the driver has been driving continuously. The user device may determine whether the driver is drowsy based on the driver profile and the driving data, and may respond in one or more ways, such as by altering the driver with an audio signal, providing the driver with a map to a nearby rest area, activating a braking system of the vehicle, warning nearby drivers about the driver being drowsy, contacting a parent or guardian of the driver, etc.

Drowsy driver prevention systems and methods

A system may be configured to receive an upload, from a first user device, of a basis content item that includes first content; determine whether a first user of the first user device has a right to restrict a use of the first content in an in-use content item uploaded by a second user device when the in-use content includes the first content; in response to determining that the first user has the right, store the basis content in the system; in response to determining that the first user does not have the right, discard the basis content; receive an upload, from a second user device, of a first in-use content item; and determine whether the first in-use content item matches the basis content item.

Matched content use restriction system

A device may obtain information associated with a traffic light. The traffic light may control a flow of traffic associated with a first location. The device may obtain travel information associated with a mobile device and determine, based on the travel information, that the mobile device is located at a second location, that is different from the first location, and is traveling toward the first location. The device may determine a projected status of the traffic light based on the information associated with the traffic light and the travel information. The projected status of the traffic light indicating a status of the traffic light at a time the mobile device is projected to arrive at the first location. The device may transmit information identifying the projected status to the mobile device.

Travel optimization system

A device may determine an application shortcut and a set of specified conditions, where the application shortcut is to be presented on a home screen of a user device when the set of specified conditions is satisfied. The device may determine a set of current conditions associated with the user device, and may present the application shortcut on the home screen of the user device based on the set of current conditions satisfying the set of specified conditions.

Dynamic application arranger

A method may include receiving sensor data, the sensor data including at least one of sound or light; comparing, when the sensor data includes sound, the received sound with sound information included in one or more media files; comparing, when the sensor data includes light, the received light with one or more particular conditions; determining, based on comparing at least one of the received sound or the received light, if alert information should be provided, the alert information indicating a dangerous situation; and providing, when the alert information should be provided, the alert information indicating the dangerous situation.
