A display device includes a base layer, a circuit layer including a reinforcing layer disposed on the base layer and transistors disposed on the reinforced layer, where each of the transistors includes a semiconductor pattern including a source, an active, a drain, and a gate, and a display layer including a light-emitting diode connected to the transistors, where the reinforcing layer overlaps three or more actives among actives of the transistors. Some of semiconductor patterns of the transistors include polysilicon, others of the semiconductor patterns of the transistors include oxide, and a distance from the reinforcing layer to a semiconductor pattern including the polysilicon is shorter than a distance from the reinforcing layer to a semiconductor pattern including the oxide.

Display device

An organic light emitting display device may include a flexible substrate, a common layer, and an encapsulation member. An undercut groove may be formed on the flexible substrate. The common layer may be disposed on the flexible substrate, may include an organic light emitting layer, and may be disconnected by the groove. The encapsulation member may be disposed on the common layer, and may cover the common layer.

A display panel includes a peripheral region adjacent to a display region. The display region includes a hole peripheral region, and a recessed region is overlapped with the hole peripheral region. The display panel also includes a barrier layer with a penetrating opening overlapped with the recessed region, a circuit layer on the barrier layer and including a transistor and insulating layers, and a device layer including an organic light emitting area coupled to the circuit layer. In addition, a module hole is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and penetrates the base substrate, and a first groove is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and corresponds to a portion of the base substrate that is recessed from a top surface of the barrier layer and that encloses the module hole. The insulating layers include inorganic layers and an organic layer having side portions enclosing the module hole.

Display panel having grooves and electronic device including the same

A pixel includes a light emitting element including an anode and a cathode, a first transistor connected between the anode and a first power line and switched by a voltage of a node, a second transistor connected between the first transistor connected to the first power line and a data line and switched by a write scan signal, a third transistor connected between the node and the anode and switched by a compensation scan signal, and an insulating layer covering the second and third transistors. A method for manufacturing the display device includes preparing a display panel on which a folding area folded with reference to a virtual folding axis and first and second non-folding areas, which are adjacent to both sides of the folding area, are defined and which displays an image, providing a resin on a first surface of the display panel, primarily hardening the resin, and secondarily hardening first and second resin areas of the resin, which respectively correspond to the first non-folding area and the second non-folding area of the display panel.
