Provided is a display device which may include a display panel having an active region in which a plurality of pixels are arranged and a peripheral region, and a sensor layer disposed on the display panel. The sensor layer may include a first sensing electrode including a plurality of first sensing patterns and bridge patterns configured to connect the plurality of first sensing patterns, a second sensing electrode including a plurality of sensing portions and connection portions disposed between the plurality of sensing portions, a plurality of coils each disposed under the plurality of first sensing patterns and the plurality of sensing portions.

Display device

A display device includes a substrate comprising a plurality of pixel areas and a non-pixel area surrounding each of the plurality of pixel areas. The non-pixel area includes a plurality of first areas and a second area surrounding the plurality of first areas. A functional layer is disposed on the substrate and includes a plurality of first holes defined through the functional layer and overlapping the plurality of first areas. An element layer is disposed on the functional layer. A pixel definition layer is disposed on the element layer and overlaps the non-pixel area. The pixel definition layer includes pixel openings defined therethrough. The pixel openings overlap the plurality of pixel areas. A plurality of light emitting elements is disposed on the element layer and is disposed in the pixel openings.

An electronic device includes a display panel including a display region and a non-display region adjacent thereto, an input sensor overlapping a first region of the display region, and an antenna overlapping a second region of the display region. The input sensor includes a first sensing layer including a bridge pattern and a second sensing layer including sensor electrodes and disposed on a different layer from the first sensing layer. The bridge pattern connects two adjacent sensor electrodes. The antenna includes a first antenna layer including a first antenna with a first frequency band, the first antenna layer and the first sensing layer disposed on the same layer, and a second antenna layer including a second antenna with a second frequency band different from the first frequency band. The second antenna layer and the second sensing layer are disposed on the same layer.

Electronic device

The present disclosure relates to an electronic apparatus. The electronic apparatus includes a display panel in which an active area and a peripheral area are defined and an antenna with at least a portion overlapping the active area. The antenna includes a first pattern portion having a first characteristic impedance and a first mesh structure, a second pattern portion, and a third pattern portion. The second pattern portion is disposed adjacent to the first pattern portion and has a second characteristic impedance different from the first characteristic impedance and a second mesh structure. The third pattern portion is disposed adjacent to the second pattern portion and has a third characteristic impedance different from the second characteristic impedance and a third mesh structure. The second characteristic impedance has a value between the first characteristic impedance and the third characteristic impedance.

Radio frequency device and electronic apparatus having the same

A display device may include a display substrate, an encapsulation substrate, and a sealing member. The display substrate may include a pixel defining layer. The sealing member may include a first portion having an inner portion between the display substrate and the encapsulation substrate and overlapping an edge portion of the pixel defining layer and an outer portion extending from the inner portion and located outside the inner portion; and a second portion between the outer portion and the display substrate.

Display device and manufacturing method thereof

An electronic device includes a display panel including a display area and a non-display area. The electronic device includes an input sensor disposed on the display panel and including a plurality of bridge elements and a plurality of sensing patterns connected to the plurality of bridge elements, and an antenna disposed on the same layer as the input sensor. The antenna includes a first sub-antenna disposed on a same layer as the bridge element and including a first portion extending in a first direction and a second portion extending from one end of the first portion in a second direction crossing the first direction and a second sub-antenna disposed on a same layer as the sensing pattern and including a third portion and a fourth portion extending from one end of the third portion in a direction opposite to the second direction.

Wireless electronic device with antenna structures in multiple layers

A display device includes a base layer, a display layer on the base layer and defined with a plurality of light emitting areas and a surrounding area, a sensing layer on the display layer, and an antenna layer on the display layer and including a plurality of antennas, wherein each of the plurality of antennas includes a first pattern configured to receive a signal, and a second pattern on the same layer as the first pattern, the second pattern being separated from the first pattern and grounded, and each of the first pattern and the second pattern has a mesh structure and overlaps the surrounding area.

An electronic device includes: a display panel configured to display an image; an input sensor disposed on the display panel and including first electrodes and second electrodes electrically insulated from the first electrodes; and a sensor controller electrically connected to the input sensor, the sensor controller configured to drive the input sensor in a first driving mode or a second driving mode, wherein: in the first driving mode, the sensor controller is configured to measure a variation of capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrodes to generate location information of an input, and in the second driving mode, the sensor controller is configured to use a first portion among the first electrodes as a transmission sensing electrode and to use a second portion among the first electrodes as a reception sensing electrode to analyze a body composition.

The present disclosure presents an electronic device. The electronic device may include a display panel, an input sensor, a first antenna, and a second antenna. The display panel includes a display region and a non-display region adjacent to the display region. The input sensor is disposed on the display panel and overlapped with a first region of the display region. The first antenna and a second antenna are disposed on the display panel and are overlapped with a second region of the display region, and each of which includes a stretchable pattern. A first distance between opposite ends of the stretchable pattern of the first antenna may be different from a second distance between opposite ends of the stretchable pattern of the second antenna. The inventive concept may provide an electronic device including a stretchable antenna.

Electronic device and method of fabricating the same

A display device includes a substrate comprising a plurality of pixel areas and a non-pixel area surrounding each of the plurality of pixel areas. The non-pixel area includes a plurality of first areas and a second area surrounding the plurality of first areas. A functional layer is disposed on the substrate and includes a plurality of first holes defined through the functional layer and overlapping the plurality of first areas. An element layer is disposed on the functional layer. A pixel definition layer is disposed on the element layer overlaps the non-pixel area. The pixel definition layer includes pixel openings defined therethrough. The pixel openings overlap the plurality of pixel areas. A plurality of light emitting elements is disposed on the element layer and is disposed in the pixel openings.

An electronic device in some embodiments includes: a display layer configured to display an image based on image data and having a plurality of regions defined thereon; a sensor layer on the display layer; and a sensor driver configured to receive image information data calculated based on the image data, to generate an output signal based on the image information data, and to provide the output signal to the sensor layer, wherein the image information data includes noise information on the image, the noise information being calculated based on the plurality of regions. Some embodiments may include the electronic device included in an interface device.

Electronic device and interface device including the same

A display device includes a display panel in which an active area and a peripheral area are defined, and an antenna unit including a main pattern, a first sub-pattern, and an antenna line. The main pattern is disposed on the display panel in the active area, transmits and/or receives a signal, and operates at a first frequency. The first sub-pattern is disposed on the display panel in the active area, is spaced apart from the main pattern in a first direction, is capacitively coupled to the main pattern, and operates at a second frequency different from the first frequency.

An interface device includes: a display device including a display layer and a sensor layer on the display layer; and an input device configured to receive a first signal from the sensor layer and to output a second signal to the sensor layer, wherein a strength of the second signal is determined according to a separation distance between the display device and the input device.
