The plurality of pixels include first pixels having a first color and second pixels having a second color different from the first color. After the sensing operation is performed on a first odd-numbered group of the first pixels, the sensing operation is performed on a first even-numbered group of the first pixels. After the sensing operation is performed on the first even-numbered group of the first pixels, the sensing operation is performed on a second odd-numbered group of the second pixels. A display apparatus includes a display, a frequency compensator, a frequency adjuster, and a driver. The display includes first, second, and third pixels to display an image having color information. The frequency compensator receives first, second, and third pixel data respectively corresponding to the first, second, and third pixels, converts the first, second, and third pixel data to hue data, and outputs a frequency control signal to change a current driving frequency of the display based on the hue data. The frequency adjuster changes the driving frequency to a predetermined compensation frequency in response to the frequency control signal and changes a frequency of image data and an image control signal such that the display is driven at the predetermined compensation frequency. The driver receives the changed image data and the changed image control signal and drives the display at the predetermined compensation frequency.

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver, a data driver and a timing controller. The display panel displays an image. The gate driver outputs a gate signal to the display panel. The data driver includes a plurality of data driving chips which outputs data voltages to the display panel based on data signals. The timing controller adjusts a waveform of the data signals based on a temperature of the data driving chips.
