Battery pack

A secondary battery including a circuit board unnecessitating a cut-out portion is provided. The secondary battery includes a battery cell having a cell tab, a protective circuit module electrically connected to the cell tab and having a circuit pattern formed therein, and a connection tab attached to the protective circuit module and electrically connected to the circuit pattern, wherein the connection tab includes a conductive layer adhered to the protective circuit module and including a first plating layer formed on the conductive layer and a second plating layer formed on the first plating layer, and the cell tab is welded to the connection tab.

Secondary battery

A battery pack that can reduce manufacturing costs and simplify an assembly structure. The battery pack includes a first case having an inner space, at least one battery cell arranged in the inner space of the first case, a second case coupled to the first case to accommodate the battery cell, and a coupling part arranged inside the coupled first and second cases. The coupling part includes a handle part and a protrusion part that is integrally formed with the handle part and protrudes outward according to a movement of the handle part.

A battery pack is disclosed which can inhibit unwanted electric short-circuits between a secondary battery and a thermal safety device. The battery pack may be further configured such that the number of welding points is reduced, simplifying a manufacturing process for the battery pack. The battery pack may include a secondary battery including a case having a first polarity, a terminal protruding from the case having a second polarity opposite to the first polarity, a safety member including an insulating holder mounted in the case around the terminal, a thermal safety device, and a conductive plate. The thermal safety device may be mounted in the insulating holder and electrically connected to the terminal. The conductive plate may be electrically connected to the thermal safety device and mounted in the insulating holder around the thermal safety device.

A battery pack comprises a battery cell, a circuit module electrically connected to the battery cell, a first case covering one side of the battery cell, a second case covering an opposite side of the battery cell and one side of the circuit module, wherein the second case is coupled to the first case, and a third case covering an opposite side of the circuit module, wherein the third case is coupled to the first case and the second case.
