A seat back for a vehicle seat is provided. The seat back has a frame, a head restraint, and an active head restraint system. The frame provides structure for the seat back and is adapted to be mounted within a vehicle. The frame has a back support portion to support a back of an occupant, and a head restraint portion to support a head of an occupant. In one embodiment, the head restraint is supported by the head restraint portion of the frame and is moveable relative to the frame to an extended position to provide support to the head of the occupant during an impact condition. The active head restraint system is operatively connected to the head restraint for moving the head restraint to the extended position when the active head restraint system is activated.

A trunk space storage platform for motor vehicles comprises and right support with at least one slot, a left support with at least on slot, a base, and at least one support stud. This trunk space storage platform allows users who cannot easily bend over to pick up or place objects into deep trunk spaces, such as the elderly or those with physical impairments, to raise or lower the base to a level more easily accessible for them depending on the articles stored in the trunk space of the motor vehicle.

The flange portion is adapted to be mounted to an interior component of a vehicle such that the storage panel is positionable to a stowed position, and a deployed position. A modular console system for a vehicle includes a common module which defines a module space. The common module can be attached at different points along the length of a base, which is attached to the vehicle floor. The common module is configured to receive an insert module, which has an inner portion that is specifically configured to conform to one or more accessories that can be accessed by the vehicle occupants.
