An exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler assembly can be used to perform heat exchange between cooling water and exhaust gas. The EGR cooler assembly includes an EGR cooler in which cooling water flows, and a diesel particulate filter (DPF) including a housing accommodating therein the EGR cooler and a filter unit for post-treatment of the exhaust gas. An inside of the housing is sectioned by a partition into a first space in which the EGR cooler is inserted and a second space in contact with the filter unit, and the partition has a flow hole formed thereon in order to allow the exhaust gas to flow to the EGR cooler.

Exhaust gas recirculation cooler assembly

An intercooler assembly includes: a cooler body having a heat exchanger; an upper tank formed at an intake air inlet connected to the heat exchanger and coupled to an upper portion of the cooler body; a lower tank coupled to the lower portion of the cooler body to form an intake air discharge part connected to the heat exchanger; a bypass unit connected to the intake discharge part separately from the intake inlet; and a valve unit connected to the intake air inlet and the bypass unit and selectively introducing intake air supplied through a turbocharger into the intake air inlet and the bypass unit.

Intercooler assembly

A connection structure of a turbocharger and an intercooler for a vehicle is disclosed. The turbocharger is configured to compress intake air using exhaust gas and includes an outlet for discharging the compressed air, and the intercooler includes an inlet connected to the outlet of the turbocharger and is configured to receive the compressed air through the inlet. An inserting portion having an external diameter smaller than an external diameter of the outlet is formed at an end portion of the outlet facing the intercooler, and is inserted into the inlet of the intercooler. An connecting hose encloses external circumferences of the outlet and the inlet such that the outlet and the inlet are connected to each other through the connecting hose.

Connection structure of turbo charger and intercooler for vehicle

An integrated intercooler apparatus, which is supplied with intake air and recirculating exhaust gas, and cools the intake air and the recirculating exhaust gas, may include: a heat exchanger in which gas passageways through which the intake air and the recirculating exhaust gas pass and coolant passageways through which a coolant passes are alternately formed from a front side to a rear side thereof; and a variable device which controls an area of an exhaust gas supply region and an area of an intake air supply region at a front side of an inlet side of the heat exchanger.

Engine system having integrated intercooler

An engine having an integrated heat exchanger includes a cylinder head defining combustion chambers; an intercooler embedded at an intake side in the cylinder head and cooling intake gas by using a coolant; an EGR cooler embedded in the cylinder head and cooling exhaust gas, which is discharged from an exhaust side of the combustion chambers and recirculates to the intake side of the combustion chambers through an EGR passageway formed in the cylinder head; and an EGR distribution tube formed at an upper side in the cylinder head, supplied with the exhaust gas passing through the EGR cooler, and having distribution holes through which the exhaust gas is distributed into intake ports connected with the combustion chambers.

Engine having integrated heat exchanger

An intake system may include an intercooler configured to cool an air supplied to an engine, and an intake manifold configured to supply the air which is passed through the intercooler into at least one cylinder, and having a first runner and a second runner, in which the air which is exhausted from the intercooler is selectively supplied into at least one of the first runner and the second runner, and at least one cylinder which is communicated with the first runner is separated from at least one cylinder which is communicated with the second runner.

A cooling system for a diesel engine having a turbocharger, may include an intercooler which cools compressed air from the turbocharger, an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler which cools EGR gas in an EGR device of the diesel engine, a low-temperature radiator fluidly-connected to the intercooler and the EGR cooler and supplying a coolant to the intercooler and the EGR cooler, and a water pump fluidly-connected to the low-temperature radiator, the intercooler and the EGR cooler and circulating the coolant of the low-temperature radiator, to the intercooler and the EGR cooler, wherein the intercooler and the EGR cooler may be disposed in series so that the coolant in the low-temperature radiator sequentially circulates through the water pump, the intercooler, the EGR cooler, and then the low-temperature radiator.

Cooling system for diesel engine having turbocharger

An engine system having a turbocharger may include a cylinder head, at which an intake manifold and an exhaust manifold may be positioned, the turbocharger which may be connected to the exhaust manifold, an intake line formed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold to transmit compressed air compressed by the turbocharger, through the cylinder head, an intercooler disposed to be adjacent to the intake manifold to cool the compressed air supplied through the intake line, an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) line connecting the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold to recirculate the exhaust gas, to the intake manifold through the cylinder head, and an EGR cooler disposed to be adjacent to the intake manifold, wherein a low-temperature coolant supplied from a low temperature radiator to pass through the cylinder head to cool the compressed air and the EGR gas that pass through the cylinder head.

Engine system having turbocharger

An engine system having a turbocharger may include a cylinder head at which an intake manifold and an exhaust manifold may be placed, the turbocharger connected to the exhaust manifold to compress intake air by a first exhaust gas exhausted from the exhaust manifold, an intake line that may be formed between the turbocharger and the intake manifold through the cylinder head to deliver a compressed air compressed by the turbocharger, an intercooler placed between the intake line and the intake manifold to cool the compressed air, an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) line that recirculates a second exhaust gas that may be exhausted from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold, and an EGR cooler that may be placed between the EGR line and the intake manifold to cool an EGR gas, wherein a low temperature coolant passing through the cylinder head cools the compressed air.

An engine system having a turbocharger may include an engine block, a turbocharger, an intake line and an intercooler. The engine block may include a cylinder head disposed on an upper side of the engine block, an intake manifold disposed at one side of the cylinder head, and an exhaust manifold disposed at the other side of the cylinder head. The turbocharger may compress intake air by exhaust gas exhausted from the exhaust manifold, and the intake line may be formed from the turbocharger to the intake manifold to transfer the intake air compressed by the turbocharger to the intake manifold. The intercooler may be disposed on the intake line adjacent to the intake manifold to cool the compressed intake air. The compressed intake air discharged from the turbocharger may pass a side of the cylinder head and an engine coolant flowing the cylinder head may cool the compressed intake air.
