An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes a transistor on a substrate. The transistor includes a gate electrode, a first electrode, and a second electrode. The apparatus also includes a protective layer over the first electrode and including a first portion that contacts the second electrode, and an organic light-emitting device having a pixel electrode electrically connected to the second electrode.

Organic light-emitting display apparatus and method of manufacturing the same

An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate; a plurality of thin film transistors on the substrate, each of the thin film transistors including an active layer, a gate electrode, and source and drain electrodes; first electrodes electrically connected to the plurality of thin film transistors, respectively, and being on respective pixels corresponding to the plurality of thin film transistors; organic layers on the first electrodes, respectively, and including light-emitting layers; auxiliary electrodes each of which is on at least a portion between adjacent organic layers of the organic layers; and a second electrode facing the first electrodes and covering the organic layers and the auxiliary electrodes.

An organic light emitting display device and a method of manufacturing the same are proposed. The organic light emitting display device includes a display unit having a plurality of sub-pixels, each of which includes a pixel electrode and a counter electrode facing each other and a light emitting layer interposed therebetween; an encapsulation substrate, which covers the display unit; and an auxiliary electrode, which is formed on a surface of the encapsulation substrate, which faces the display unit, and is connected to the counter electrode. Using the structure, voltage drop may be effectively reduced by connecting an auxiliary electrode formed on an encapsulation substrate to a counter electrode, thereby improving reliability of an organic light emitting display device employing the same.

Organic light emitting display device and manufacturing method thereof

A frit sealing system for combining a first substrate and a second substrate using frit comprises a laser generating a laser beam, and a homogenizer normalizing the intensity of the laser beam within a cross section of the laser beam in the transverse direction. The frit sealing system further comprises a support apparatus configured to hold a first and a second substrate with frit interposed between them, wherein the frit is configured to be cured by heat generated from the laser beam and thereby solidifying and binding the first and the second substrates.

A frit sealing system and a method of manufacturing an organic light emitting display device by using the frit sealing system, and more particularly, a frit sealing system and a method of manufacturing an organic light emitting display device by using the frit sealing system, which includes a pressure member so as to physically pressurize a first substrate and a second substrate, thereby increasing adhesion of a frit when the first substrate and the second substrate are adhered to each other by using the frit. The frit sealing system, adhering the first substrate and the second substrate by using the frit, includes: a bed member on which the first substrate is placed; a laser irradiation member irradiating a laser to the frit between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a pressure member disposed on an upper part of the first substrate and the second substrate irradiated with the laser and adhered, thereby pressurizing the first substrate and the second substrate irradiated with the laser and adhered.

Frit sealing system and method of manufacturing organic light emitting display device

An organic light emitting display apparatus with reduced infiltration of external moisture and oxygen comprises: a substrate comprising a plurality of TFT devices; and a display region formed on the substrate; wherein the display region comprises a base layer which comprises first electrodes electrically connected to the TFT devices and defining a pixel region, an organic layer formed on the base layer, and a second electrode layer formed in a structure covering the base layer and organic layer completely.

Hermetic sealing apparatus and hermetic sealing method using frit

An organic light emitting display and a method of fabricating the same are disclosed. One embodiment of the organic light emitting display includes a substrate including a pixel region and a cathode-on-driver (COD) region adjacent to the pixel region, a thin film transistor formed on the pixel region of the substrate, and a planarization film formed on an entire surface of the substrate to cover the thin film transistor. The organic light emitting display also includes an organic light emitting diode including a first pixel electrode formed on the planarization film and connected to the thin film transistor, an organic light emitting layer formed on the first pixel electrode, and a second pixel electrode formed on an entire surface of the substrate over the organic light emitting layer. The organic light emitting display further includes a pixel definition layer which is provided between the planarization film and the second pixel electrode. The pixel definition layer has an opening where the organic light emitting layer is located. Openings are formed through the planarization film and the pixel definition layer to provide a recess for separating the pixel region and the COD region from each other. The organic light emitting display further includes a conductive layer partially filling the recess for reducing the depth of the recess.
