A mounting structure for a boss of a display module. The mounting structure is constructed with a reinforcing member installed on a chassis base of the display module, a boss including a threaded length having an outer portion on which a screw surface is formed and being coupled to the reinforcing member, and a connecting portion extending from the threaded length in a direction away from the reinforcing member and having an end portion in which a coupling hole is formed, and a supporting nut screwed into the threaded length to press the boss toward the reinforcing member.

Mounting structure for boss of display module

A display device is disclosed. In one embodiment, the display device includes i) a display panel configured to display an image, ii) a chassis base configured to support the display panel, iii) an auxiliary chassis disposed between the display panel and the chassis base, wherein one end of the auxiliary chassis covers and contacts an edge of the chassis base. The display device further includes i) a driving board disposed at the back of the chassis base and configured to drive the display panel and ii) at least one signal transmission member comprising at least one circuit device and configured to electrically connect the display panel and the driving board, wherein one side of the at least one signal transmission member is supported by the auxiliary chassis, and wherein the one side faces the edge of the chassis base.

Display device

A display devise includes a display panel and a chassis base supporting the display panel. At least one reinforcing member is attached to the chassis base to add rigidity to the chassis base and at least one stand is attached to the chassis base to allow the chassis base to stand upright. A guide stand couples the reinforcing member to the stand, the guide stand comprising a body and a reinforcing plate substantially extending at an angle from the body.

A plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel, a chassis base having a first surface to which the plasma display panel is attached and a second surface on which a driving circuit module is installed, and at least one gripper provided on the second surface of the chassis base, the gripper being integrally formed with the chassis base, the gripper being protruded with respect to the second surface of the chassis base. There is provided a plasma display apparatus capable of reducing the cost and complexity of fitting circuit boards to a chassis base. A plasma display apparatus comprising a panel displaying images, a circuit board that drives the panel, and a chassis base that supports the panel and the circuit board. A signal transfer member couples the panel and the circuit board, and a protection plate protects the signal transfer member and a device mounted on the signal transfer member by covering the signal transfer member and the device. The protection plate is coupled with the chassis base by a coupling means, and a damage protection means, which is disposed on a side of a coupling part of the protection plate and the chassis base, prevents damage of the device by distributing a coupling force.

A plasma display device includes: a Plasma Display Panel(PDP); a chassis base adapted to support the PDP attached to one surface thereof, a plurality of Integrated Circuit (IC) modules respectively included on driving circuit boards attached to another surface of the chassis base and adapted to control the PDP; and a reinforcing member arranged on the chassis base, one surface of each of the IC modules being in contact with the reinforcing member. The integrated circuit module is attached to the reinforcing member which reinforces the mechanical strength of the chassis base, so that a heat sink is not needed. The thickness of a plasma display device is thereby reduced and the appearance of the plasma display device is improved.

Plasma display device

A design for a display apparatus that allows for improved convection for the removal of hot air from heated circuit components. The display apparatus includes a display panel, a chassis having a base, which supports the display panel, and a flange formed along an upper edge of the base to prevent the base from bending, the flange having at least one air passage hole to allow smooth air flow. The display apparatus also has a printed circuit board on which parts for driving the display panel are mounted, the printed circuit board being supported by the chassis, and a case which accommodates the display panel, the chassis, and the printed circuit board. The case also is perforated by two sets of holes to allow hot air to escape and cool air to enter the display apparatus.

Display apparatus having improved heat dissipation capabilities

A fixing structure for a circuit board includes at least one board mounting hole in the circuit board, the board mounting hole having a guide hole and an insertion hole, and at least one board mounting member inserted through the board mounting hole, the board mounting member having a main body, a cover, and an insertion portion therebetween, wherein the insertion portion has a cross-sectional area smaller than either of the main body or the cover and is capable of fitting in the insertion hole of the board mounting hole.

A chassis structure for a plasma display module, and a plasma display module including the chassis structure effectively dissipate heat generated by a plasma display panel and improve assembly of the plasma display module. The chassis base includes: a front plate; a back plate separated from the front plate; and a heat dissipation member disposed between the front plate and the back plate, and having a bent cross-section arranged so that some surfaces of the heat dissipation member contact the front plate and some surfaces of the heat dissipation member contact the back plate to allow air flow between the front and back plate.

The filter holder includes a pressing portion that presses an EMI filter toward and against a front portion of a front cabinet, a fixing portion that is fixed on the front portion of the front cabinet, and an inner wall portion that connects the pressing portion and the fixing portion.
