A support apparatus for an insulator arm is disclosed. The support apparatus for an insulator arm in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first key cap connector and a second key cap connector coupled, respectively, with a first insulator arm and a second insulator arm that are divided, respectively, from a pair of insulator arms; a Y-shaped saddle coupled with the first key cap connector and the second key cap connector; and an insulator arm support metal fitting coupled with the Y-shaped saddle and connecting the pair of insulator arms with each other.

Support apparatus for insulator arm

The present invention relates to a simulation test system for thermal impact ageing of a power transmission insulator which simulation tests an influence of a forest fire on the power transmission insulator. The present invention provides a simulation test system of thermal impact ageing for a power transmission insulator, which includes a heating chamber provided with a flame supplying part and electric heating parts in fireproof walls and a partition wall having an opening/closing door in a lower part thereof; a cooling chamber placed under the heating chamber and provided with a cooling nozzle in a fireproof wall; a sample lifting device for selectively lifting a test sample up and down through the heating chamber and the cooling chamber; a door transporting device for slidingly moving the opening/closing door; and a central control part for controlling the flame supplying part, the electric heating part, the opening/closing door, the cooling nozzle, the sample lifting device and the door transporting device independently and respectively. Therefore, since the heating chamber and the cooling chamber are configured independently from each other, heating and cooling tests for the test sample can be performed individually or together.

Simulation test system for thermal impact ageing of power transmission insulator

Disclosed is a power transmission tower, which includes a tower body; first through sixth main insulation arms connected by one end thereof to the tower body with an angle with the tower body, respectively, and arranged radially and symmetrically about the tower body in a longitudinal direction; and first through eighth auxiliary insulation arms for selectively connecting the other end of the first through sixth main insulation arms and the tower body so that each of the auxiliary insulation arms constitutes each side of an octagon. Since the insulation arms are octagonally arranged, it is possible to reinforce a mechanical strength and enhance electric properties of the tower.

Power transmission tower

A system and method for operating a Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) connected to a SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) are disclosed. The UPFC automatic operation system receives power system data from the SCADA system, automatically determines UPFC's optimum operation conditions according to power system states. The system includes: a UPFC acting as a serial/parallel FACTS to control variables of a power system; a SCADA for periodically acquiring line data of the power system and state data of the UPFC; and an upper controller for analyzing data received from the SCADA, and determining an UPFC's optimum operation mode for each power system condition and UPFC's optimum set-point control commands.
