A terminal apparatus and a method for time synchronization are provided. The method includes setting a reference time for a time synchronization with another terminal apparatus, transmitting a sync signal comprising the set reference time to the other terminal apparatus, and if a response signal to the sync signal is received from the other terminal apparatus, performing the time synchronization with the other terminal apparatus based on a transmission time of the sync signal and a reception time of the response signal. An apparatus and method for allowing a plurality of playback devices to stream content of a master device simultaneously is provided. When the master device selects one of the playback devices as a reference device and multicasts a synchronization packet to the playback devices, the playback devices determine a synchronization time by comparing their own synchronization packet reception time with a synchronization packet reception time of the reference device. When the master device streams content, into which a time stamp is inserted based on the time of the reference device, the playback devices play the content based on the determined synchronization time. Therefore, even when the playback devices have different network latencies from the master device, the playback devices may accurately perform synchronized content playback.

The service data push method includes: providing a device with data push information regarding service data to be pushed to at least one device; and pushing the service data to the device when receiving a data push service request from the at least one device.
