A display device of the disclosure includes a grayscale converter which converts input grayscales into output grayscales based on a scale factor, a data driver which converts the output grayscales into data voltages, a plurality of pixels which receives the data voltages and displays an image based on the data voltages, and a current sensor which provides a sensing current by sensing a first power current supplied to the plurality of pixels to display the image. When a load corresponding to the input grayscales is greater than a minimum load, the grayscale converter adjusts a change amount of the scale factor based on a current difference between a target current corresponding to the load and the sensing current.

A display device includes: a pixel component including pixels; a timing controller configured to calculate a load variation between previous input grayscale values corresponding to a previous frame and current input grayscale values corresponding to a current frame; a current sensor configured to sense a current flowing through the pixels during the current frame and generate a global current value for the sensed current, store time points at which the global current value becomes equal to preset threshold current values, respectively, and generate a global current variation rate corresponding to a section between the stored time points of the current frame; and a scale factor provider configured to control a scale factor in a period of the current frame in the case where the load variation is equal to or more than a reference load variation.

The display device may include a display panel including a plurality of unit blocks disposed in a display area, the plurality of unit blocks including a first area displaying a logo or a banner, a second area having largest load value and a third area disposed between the first area and the second area, a display panel driver configured to generate data voltages based on input image data, and a zonal compensator configured to receive the input image data, to calculate load values of the input image data for the plurality of unit blocks, respectively, and to control luminance of each of the first area and the third area based on a location difference between the first area and the second area and a load value difference between the first area and the second area.

A display device includes a pixel unit including pixels, a compensator which generate compensation image data by scaling grayscale values of input image data based on temperature data corresponding to an ambient temperature of the pixel unit, a timing controller which generates image data based on the compensation image data, and a data driver which generates a data signal corresponding to the image data and supply the data signal to the pixels. The compensator scales the grayscale values of the input image data in a way such that the grayscale values of the input image data decrease when the ambient temperature is greater than a reference temperature. A display device and a method of driving the same are provided. The display device according to an embodiment includes a plurality of pixel rows, a data driver configured to provide first data voltages which correspond to first line grayscale data to pixels disposed in an (N&#x2212;1)-th pixel row, provide second data voltages which correspond to second line grayscale data to pixels disposed in an N-th pixel row, and provide third data voltages which correspond to third line grayscale data to pixels disposed in an (N+1)-th pixel row, and a data compensator configured to compensate for the second line grayscale data by using one of a first compensation and a second compensation based on the first line grayscale data, the second line grayscale data, and the third line grayscale data.

An interface system including: a receiver; a transmitter configured to transmit a signal including a common mode voltage to the receiver through transmission lines; and a plurality of bias circuits configured to adjust the common mode voltage of the signal, wherein the bias circuits are configured to receive a bias control bit to generate a biased common mode voltage.

A display device may include: a plurality of pixels; a gate driver that receives clock signals and generates and applies a plurality of gate signals to a respective plurality of gate lines connected to the plurality of pixels; and a clock signal driver. The clock signal driver may output the clock signals and receive feedback clock signals derived from the clock signals, compare the feedback clock signals, and control amplitudes of the clock signals so that an amplitude difference between the feedback clock signals is less than a threshold.

An image signal modifying method is disclosed. In one aspect, the image signal modifying method includes inputting a gray level interval of a first dynamic capacitance compensation (DCC) lookup table to a current gray level which is a target in a previous image signal when it is overdriven (DTG) and 0 to a gray level of the previous image signal (PIG). The method also includes searching for a data value in an adaptive color correction (ACC) lookup table corresponding to a gray level equal to a numerical value of the DTG (ALT) and performing an algorithm based on the DTG, the ALT, and the gray level interval of the first DCC lookup table. The method further includes generating a second DCC lookup table based on the algorithm, and performing second DCC processing on the input image signal based on the second DCC lookup table.
