The vehicle seat cover includes a top layer provided in the top portion, a bottom layer provided in the bottom portion, and a intermediate layer positioned between the top layer and the bottom layer. Each of the layers has a tricot texture, and the top layer includes the first yarn having a configuration in which the dope dyed microfiber yarn and the first high shrinkage yarn are interlaced. Thus, the suede material may have superior friction fastness and the light fastness and the vehicle seat cover is manufactured at less cost than a vehicle seat cover made of a conventional artificial suede.

The present disclosure relates to a resin composition for vehicle parts, a vehicle part manufactured using the resin composition, and a method of manufacturing the vehicle part. Ultra-high molecular weight siloxane and an inorganic filler are mixed with an alloy resin of polyamide and polyethylene at an optimal rate in order to improve friction resistance and wear resistance while maintaining excellent impact resistance and low hygroscopicity. When a vehicle part is manufactured using the resin composition, it is possible to eliminate the application of silicone-based oil or to remarkably reduce the amount of silicone-based oil that is used, whereby it is possible to reduce manufacturing costs. Furthermore, ingredients that are harmful to human beings, such as POM, are not included, whereby it is possible to improve the quality of air in a vehicle.

Manufacturing method of high temperature resistant sound absorbing materials for vehicle

The present invention provides a multilayer dash isolation pad having superior formability and sound absorption performance. The multilayer dash isolation pad includes a decoupler and a sound absorption and insulation layer. The decoupler is a soft felt manufactured from urethane foam or octalobal cross-section fiber, and the sound absorption and insulation layer includes a compressed felt manufactured from octalobal cross-section fibers. In particular, the shape factor (&#x3b1;) of the octalobal cross-section fiber is 2.0 to 2.7. Particularly, the multilayer dash isolation pad according to the present invention does not decrease thickness or be contracted upon press molding after pre-heating felt, such that superior formability in components can be obtained and a sound absorption coefficient may be enhanced without increase in the weights and thicknesses of the decoupler and the sound absorption and insulation layer.

The present invention relates to a method for molding a substantially improved heat-resistant sound absorbing and insulating material, which uses a sound absorbing material containing, based on 100 parts by weight of the sound absorbing material, an amount of about 20-80 parts by weight of a fiber material having a limiting oxygen index (LOI) of about 25% or greater and a heat resistance temperature of about 200&#xb0; C. or greater and an amount of about 20-80 parts by weight of a thermosetting binder resin having a heat resistance temperature of about 200&#xb0; C. or greater and is installed on an engine cylinder block and an automotive body panel above a muffler of a vehicle. The method includes: a releasing agent coating step of coating a releasing agent inside a heated die; a heated compression molding step of fixing a shape; and a cold compression step of stabilizing the shape. The substantially improved heat-resistant sound absorbing and insulating material molded according to the method can reduce the noise inside a vehicle by blocking radiated noise, which is generated from an engine and an exhaust system, from being transferred to the inside of the vehicle through an automotive body panel, can maintain its shape even under a high-temperature environment of about 200&#xb0; C. or greater generated by the engine and the exhaust system, and can satisfy UL 94V-0 flame retardancy.
