A battery pack is disclosed. In one aspect the battery pack includes a battery cell including an electrode assembly and a pouch that seals the electrode assembly and a frame that accommodates the battery cell, wherein the frame comprises i) a main frame that surrounds the battery cell and ii) a rib that crosses the main frame. The pouch includes i) a pair of side-wing units each having a shape substantially similar to a side surface of the battery cell and extending in a direction and ii) a terrace unit connected to the side-wing units. Each of the side-wing units includes an extension unit that extends on the terrace unit along the direction. The frame includes an insertion unit into which the extension unit is inserted, and the rib is located on the terrace unit. According to embodiments, the capacity of the battery pack increases.

A battery pack has a first housing including a first fastening portion and a first rib, and a second housing including a second fastening portion fastened to the first fastening portion and a second rib. The first rib is near the first fastening portion, and the second rib is between the first housing and the first rib.

A locking apparatus for a case and the case having the same are disclosed. In one embodiment, the locking apparatus includes an operating knob formed at an external surface of the case and a latch connected to the operating knob and configured to slide with respect to the case. The latch may include i) a body portion connected to the operating knob, ii) an opposite wall portion having opposite walls which extend from a first side of the body portion, iii) a hitch member formed on a second side of the body portion, wherein the first and second sides are opposing each other, and iv) a reinforcing member disposed between the opposite walls.

A semiconductor memory system includes an external memory, an internal memory, and a one-time programmable (OTP) memory. The external memory includes a kernel, a public key, first boot information used to authenticate the public key and generate a test secret key, and a second boot loader verifying integrity of the kernel. The internal memory includes a first boot loader that verifies integrity of the second boot loader and generates the test secret key. The OTP memory includes second boot information generated using the public key and a secret key. Since the secure boot method and the semiconductor memory system using the method do not need an additional OTP memory to store a secret key unlike conventional technology, the capacity and recording time of the OTP memory can be reduced to about half compared to the conventional technology.

An electron emission display includes first and second substrates facing each other, a plurality of election emission regions provided on the first substrate, a black layer formed on a first surface of the second substrate between the phosphor layers, and an anode electrode coupled to the phosphor and black layers. The anode electrode has a light transmissivity ranging from about 3% to about 15%. A method of forming the anode electrode includes forming an interlayer on the phosphor and black layer, depositing a conductive material on the second substrate, and removing the interlayer through a firing process.

An electron emission display includes first and second substrates that face each other, a plurality of electron emission elements that are arrayed on the first substrate, phosphor and black layers that are formed on a surface of the second substrate, and an anode electrode that is formed of metal and located on surfaces of the phosphor and black layers. The anode electrode is formed to satisfy the following condition: 0.3 &#x3bc;m&#x2266;A&#x2266;3 &#x3bc;m where, A indicates a distance between the anode electrode and the phosphor layer.

An electron emission display includes first and second substrates facing each other, a plurality of driving electrodes formed on the first substrate, a plurality of electron emission regions controlled by the driving electrodes, a focusing electrode disposed on and insulated from the driving electrodes and provided with openings through which electron beams pass, a plurality of phosphor layers formed on a surface of the second substrate, an anode electrode formed on surfaces of the phosphor layers, and a plurality of spacers for maintaining a gap between the first and second substrates. Among the electron emission regions disposed in the opening adjacent to the spacer, one electron emission region, which is closest to the adjacent spacer, is spaced apart from an inner wall of the opening by a first distance that is different from a second distance from another electron emission region, which is farthest from the adjacent spacer, to the inner wall of the opening.
