A management server having a function of confirming status information of devices, a method of confirming status information of devices, and a device capable of providing status information. A first writer writes a status information request list necessary to confirm statuses of devices if the management server is turned on. A first communicator transmits the status information request list to the devices and receives status information response lists from the devices. A first parser parses the status information response lists. A server controller confirms statuses of the devices using parsing results. Thus, a list necessary to confirm statuses of devices can be written in an XML file, parsed, and provided to a manager.

An image forming device and a web server providing a workflow status of a job and a method of providing the workflow status of the job in the image forming device and the web server are provided. A communicator receives a first workform including a plurality of job conditions necessary to performing the job from a web server connected to the image forming device through a communication network. An image former generates image data of a document to perform the job. A parser parses the first workform. A controller controls the image former to generate a job command including the plurality of job from the parsed first workform and perform the job based on the generated job command, and generates a guidance picture guiding a workflow status of the job whenever the job conditions are processed. A display displays the guidance picture. Thus, a workflow status of a currently performed job can be displayed in real-time so that a user can easily check the workflow status of the currently performed job.

An image forming device and a controlling method thereof, in which the image forming device includes: a customer replaceable unit memory (CRUM) associated with a recording material storage medium to store a color conversion table group including a color conversion table that corresponds to status information of the image forming device, and a controller to determine current status information of the image forming device, to read a target color conversion table from among the color conversion table group according to the determined current status information, and to apply the target color conversion table to perform a printing operation on a document. Therefore, an optimum print quality can be guaranteed according to the determined current status of the image forming device.
