An agricultural machine system for performing agricultural tasks in a field on which plants are planted or will be planted in a pattern, the system comprising: a prime mover; a tool bar connected to the prime mover; a plurality of units attached to the tool bar, the units configured to perform at least one agricultural tasks and wherein at least two of the units are disposed in an offset relationship from each other with respect to a forward direction of travel of the agricultural machine about the tool bar; and a control unit in communication with the prime mover and the plurality of units, the control unit configured to determine a selective location corresponding to the pattern in which plants are planted or will be planted and activate the units at the selective location to perform the at least one agricultural task as the agricultural machine system travels along a plurality of rows.

Apparatus and method for performing tasks on a pattern planted field

Selectively removable nozzles for inclusion into a grain conveyor may include a ramp and a sidewall coupled to the ramp. The ramp may conform to an inner surface of a conveyor housing and produce a constriction within the housing. The sidewall may also conform to the inner surface of the conveyor housing. The ramp may also include a recess that extends along the sidewall. The recess may receive a shaft of the conveyor. One nozzle may be replaced with another in order to accommodate different harvesting conditions. The ramp compresses grain traveling through the conveyor to provide a continuous flow of grain. The continuous flow of grain provides for accurate measurements of grain characteristics by a sensor located adjacent to the flow of grain.

Crop flow nozzle

A sensor arrangement for evaluating agricultural material, the arrangement comprising: a housing having an opening, the opening configured with a window transparent to electromagnetic waves; a detector arranged in the housing for detecting electromagnetic waves coming in through the window; a flexible seal element disposed between the window and the housing; and a compression member proximate at least one of the opening, the housing, the window and the seal element, the compression member configured to press the window against the seal element to seal off the housing.

Sensor arrangement

In one embodiment, an agricultural sampling apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprising: a wave emitter; a wave transmitter configured to direct the waves from the wave emitter as a plurality of linewise waves to irradiate surface points of the agricultural sample; a dispersive element configured to receive waves arriving from the sample and deflect the arriving waves in at least two directions depending upon the wavelength of an arriving wave; and a detector configured with a plurality of detection elements disposed in at least two dimensions, the detector configured to convert the waves arriving from the dispersive element to a signal.

Device and method for providing a vehicle surround view for a vehicle, which is located on a driving plane, comprising vehicle cameras, which provide camera images of a vehicle environment of the vehicle, a location-detection unit, which detects a change in location of at least one vehicle camera relative to the driving plane of the vehicle, and comprising an image data processing unit which projects the camera images provided by the vehicle cameras onto a projection surface to generate the vehicle surround view, which projection surface is adapted according to the detected change in location of the vehicle camera.

Device and method for providing a vehicle surround view

A grain measurement device () comprises a chamber () having an inlet () and an outlet () for grain that is to be tested. A spectrometer is equipped with a light source () and a detector () for light which was generated by the light source () and was transmitted through the sample. The detector () is connected to an analyzer () for wavelength-resolved analysis of the received light.
