A compressor rotor comprising a pinion shaft which has multiple interconnected segments that are arranged axially one behind the other and including a multipart seal which seals the pinion shaft is provided. The pinion shaft has a rotor segment which supports a rotor, a connection segment, and a toothed segment arranged axially between the rotor segment and the connection segment, the toothed segment having a toothing at each of the two ends of the toothed segment. The toothed segment is held axially between the rotor segment and the connection segment via toothings by means of corresponding mating toothings at ends of the rotor segment and the connection segment, and a multipart seal sealing element which is connected to the toothed segment in an at least force-fitting manner is arranged on said toothed segment.

Seal of a compressor rotor

A shaft seal for a turbomachine is provided for sealing process side of the turbomachine against the atmosphere. The shaft seal includes a process gas seal which is acted upon by a process gas and be blocked on the process side, an atmosphere seal which is acted upon by air and be blocked on the atmosphere side, and a ventilation chamber extending around the shaft of the turbomachine. The ventilation chamber is arranged between the process gas seal and the atmosphere seal for collecting and discharging a process gas leakage that has passed through the process gas seal and an air leakage that has passed through the atmosphere seal. The ventilation chamber includes a radially inner leakage inlet, a radially outward leakage outlet and built in components that are dimensioned to as to provide a flame blocking function with regard to ignition of the leakage at the leakage inlet.

Shaft seal for a turbomachine

A turbomachine foot unit with a plurality of feet is provided. The plurality of feet is fastened to a turbomachine. The turbomachine stands upright on a horizontal base. The turbomachine foot includes fastening devices for fastening the feet to the base. At least one of the feet is mounted in a horizontally moveable manner relative to one of the fastening devices fastening the foot to the base.

A nose dome for a turbomachine rotor is provided. The turbomachine rotor has an impeller which is arranged in an overhung fashion with respect to a bearing point of the turbomachine rotor. The nose dome can be connected axially to the impeller in order to guide an axial inflow and/or outflow of the impeller, and includes a coupling device. The impeller and the nose dome can be mechanically coupled radially with the coupling device, such that the vibration behavior of the turbomachine rotor may be influenced. The turbomachine with the turbomachine rotor including the nose dome is also provided. The impeller and nose dome are coupled radially using the coupling device, such that the vibration of the turbomachine rotor is damped.

A method for operating a compressor device and associated compressor device including a compressor chamber and a cooling chamber adjoining the compressor chamber is provided. The pressure of a cooling medium in the cooling chamber is held above the pressure of a compressor medium in the compressor chamber during operation of the compressor device.

An intermediate housing floor for a fluid kinetic machine is provided. The intermediate housing floor includes a partial joint at which the intermediate housing floor may be divided during installation and/or removal into/from the fluid kinetic machine and is made up of at least two overlapping partial joint surfaces at sections of the intermediate housing floor that face one another. A recess is provided in the area of the overlap in at least the one partial joint surface, a coating is kept in the recess. The coating protrudes from the one partial joint surface as a protrusion in the removed state of the intermediate housing floor in which the intermediate housing floor is divided at the partial joint so that in the installed state of the intermediate housing floor the coating abuts against the other partial joint surface facing the one partial joint surface, whereupon the partial joint is sealed.

Intermediate housing floor for a fluid kinetic machine

A dynamic compressor, in particular a turbo compressor, having an exterior housing, a compressor unit featuring a tubular housing with an outer wall and a circular cross section, wherein the compressor unit is received by a circular opening which is located in the exterior housing and has an inner wall. Two compressor elements, which are at a distance from each other, are provided between the outer wall of the tubular housing and the inner wall of the opening in which the compressor unit is received, and wherein, furthermore, a fluid supply line is provided which penetrates the exterior housing and extends between the compressor elements which are at a distance from each other.

Multistage turbocompressor

A process for ensuring the operability of gas seals in turbocompressors, especially turbocompressors with a higher operating pressure and a higher shutdown pressure which have gas-lubricated sliding-ring seals for sealing the shaft lead-throughs and in which cleaned gas is fed to the gas-lubricated sliding-ring seals from a higher-pressure tapping location proceeding from the turbocompressor. While the turbocompressor is shut down the pressure of the gas outside of the turbocompressor is increased above the pressure level prevailing during shutdown using a pressure booster unit, and the gas is fed in a cleaned state to the gas-lubricated sliding-ring seals.
