The present invention relates to a method for producing a precursor material () for an electrochemical cell. The method comprises the steps of adding a matrix material () to a fluidized bed (), and adding a carrier medium () and a de-agglomerated carbon nanotube material () to the fluidized bed (), so that the carbon nanotube material () and the carrier medium () is applied to the matrix material () and the latter is granulated therewith, wherein the carbon nanotube material () has been suspended and de-agglomerated prior to addition to the carrier medium (), and/or the carbon nanotube material () present in de-agglomerated form in the fluidized bed () dissolving with the carrier medium () in the fluidized bed ().

A process for producing a composite material comprising at least one particulate material and at least one polymeric binder, wherein the at least one particulate material and the at least one polymeric binder are mixed with one another and mechanically processed in the presence of at least one process auxiliary which reduces the mechanical and/or chemical interaction between the surfaces of the at least one particulate material and of the at least one polymeric binder, essentially dispensing with the use of solvents, characterized in that the weight ratio of process auxiliary to polymeric binder is within a range from 3:10 to 0.1:20.

An electrical energy storage device includes prismatic energy storage cells arranged adjacent to one another such that interfaces of adjacent storage cells run at a distance from one another such that the interfaces of the adjacent storage cells form an intermediate space. A respective first layer is arranged between the interfaces of adjacent storage cells, the first layer abutting one of the two interfaces of the adjacent storage cells under pressure. Either the respective first layer also abuts the second of the two interfaces of the adjacent storage cells under pressure, or a second layer is arranged between the interfaces of adjacent storage cells, the second layer abutting the second of the two interfaces of the adjacent storage cells under pressure.
