A current sensor, fora vehicle battery in a vehicle, with an electrical conductor which has a first connection and a second connection for contacting a power circuit of a vehicle. The current sensor includes a first current measurement device and a second current measurement device for measuring the current flowing over the electrical conductor. An evaluation circuit receives measurement values of the first current measurement device and/or the second current measurement device to output a current measurement signal proportional to the current. The first current measurement device utilizes a Hall effect sensor disposed within a constriction with a reduced cross section of the electrical conductor.

Current sensor

A current sensor with an electrical conductor which has a first connection and a second connection for contacting a power circuit of a vehicle, and with a first and a second current measurement device for detecting at least one measurement value for the current flowing over the electrical conductor, and with a first evaluation circuit which is connected to the first and/or the second current measurement device and can receive the measurement values of the first and/or the second current measurement device and output a current measurement signal depending on the measurement values, and with a second evaluation circuit.

A current sensor device for measuring a current, in particular for measuring a battery current in motor vehicles. The device includes a clamping device for fixing the current sensor device to a maintaining body, an electric resistance element on which the current can be measured by means of a voltage, and an electric mass element by means of which the current sensor device can be electrically coupled to a zero potential. The clamping device, the resistance element and the mass element are integrally formed.

A method for determining the starting capability of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, which can be started by an electric motor powered by a battery, including detecting first battery parameter values during a successful starting sequence of the internal combustion engine at a first time, detecting second battery parameter values at a second time following the first time, determining at the second time the expected battery voltage for a starting sequence of the internal combustion engine taking place at a third time based on the detected first and second battery parameter values, and comparing the battery voltage expected at the third time with a predetermined threshold value in order to derive therefrom the starting capability of the internal combustion engine.

A gear actuator for engaging and disengaging gears in an automatic manual transmission has a single working piston or two working pistons provided with a first working piston surface and a second working piston surface. An auxiliary piston is provided also. A pressure control valve controls a pressure supplied to the second working piston surface. A shut-off valve is provided. The first working piston surface and the pressure valve are supplied with a system pressure of a hydraulic system. The first working piston surface and the pressure control valve can be decoupled from the system pressure of the hydraulic system by the shut-off valve.

Gear actuator for engaging and/or disengaging gears of a transmission

An actuator for gutter selection in a gear positioning device for an automatic manual transmission has a selector shaft with a selector finger. A gutter selection device is movable back and forth along an axis into a first position and a second position. The selector finger of the selector shaft can move into engagement and out of engagement with the gutter selection device. A single valve device is provided for determining the first and second positions of the gutter selection device.
