Described herein are mixtures including as active components at least one specific nitrification inhibitor (compound I) and at least one urease inhibitor (compound II). Also described herein are a method for improving the nitrification-inhibiting effect, or for increasing the health of a plant using mixtures of at least one compound I and at least one compound II and a method of using the mixtures comprising compounds I and compounds II for increasing the health of a plant. Also described herein are agrochemical compositions including these mixtures. Also described herein is plant propagation material including these mixtures or these agrochemical compositions.

The present invention relates to the use of compounds of formula (I) for reducing nitrification and to compositions comprising the compounds of formula (I) and to agricultural mixtures comprising at least one compound of formula (I) and at least one fertilizer. A mixture for the treatment of urea-containing fertilizers comprises a) at least one (thio)phosphoric acid triamide of the general formula (I) RRN&#x2014;P(X)(NH)and/or (thio)phosphoric acid diamide of the general formula (II) RO&#x2014;P(X)(NH), X denoting oxygen or sulfur, Rand Rindependently from each other being hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted 2-nitrophenyl, C-alkyl, C-cycloalkyl, C-heterocycloalkyl, C-aryl, C-heteroaryl or diaminocarbonyl, where Rand Rtogether with the nitrogen atom connecting them can also form a 5 or 6-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocyclic group, which optionally may also comprise one or two additional heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, oxygen, and sulfur, as component A, and b) at least one compound comprising an amino group having a boiling point of more than 100&#xb0; C. as component B.

Mixture for the treatment of urea-containing fertilizers

The invention relates to preparations with improved urease-inhibitory effect which comprise at least two different (thio)phosphoric triamides and to urea-comprising fertilizers which comprise these preparations. The invention furthermore relates to a method of preparing these preparations, to the use of these preparations in the fertilization with urea-comprising fertilizers, and to the use of urea-comprising fertilizers which comprise these preparations in agriculture or in horticulture.
