The invention relates to an aircraft for takeoff and landing on water or on land. The aircraft comprises a fuselage and a spring-mounted landing gear. Landing gear wheels are mountable on the landing gear for takeoff and landing on land. Furthermore, the aircraft comprises a floating device coupleable to the landing gear of the aircraft via a connecting device. The floating device is configured such that the hydrostatic lifting force of the floating device is greater than the maximum takeoff weight of the aircraft.

A vehicle seat has seating components, such as a seat piece (), a backrest () and a leg-rest (), which are adjustable as to their positions, particularly in their relative inclination, by at least one operating device (). A monitoring device monitors all the boundary geometries () of the moving seat components which may cause collisions and which have given spatial constraints (). The monitoring device controls the operating devices () at all points to guarantee a collision-free movement of all seat components within the spatial constraints. The vehicle seat considered as a total system can undergo adjustment processes without a damaging collision occurring.

A control and power supply system for the actuators of at least two airplane seats, which are preferably adjacent. The actuators of an airplane seat and the actuators of at least one other airplane seat are connected to a common control unit by a data link device. Each actuator can be supplied by at least two power units. In case of control unit failure, at least one actuator takes over the function of the control unit. For uncoupling defective parts of the corresponding bus structure, all the actuators are provided with elements for cutting the ingoing and outgoing data lines and power lines.

Control and power supply system for at least two airplane seats

A seat includes at least one inclinably adjustable seat component, such as a seat section (), whose seat frame structure can be disposed on a floor structure () in such a way that the seating section is pivotable around its stationary legs (). The pairs of stationary legs () in the region of the front edge () and the rear edge () of the seating section () act upon the seating section. An actuating device () adjusts the respective inclination of the seat section (), and has an exit position, whereby the seat section () is orientated in an essentially parallel manner in relation to the floor structure () and cannot be inclined. The actuating device () extends in the exit position between the stationary legs (), whereby one end () in the region of the front seat () is orientated counter to the floor structure () and the other end () in the region of the rear edge of the seat () is orientated in the direction of the seat frame structure (). As a result, forces arising from a crash are deflected by the actuating device in a safe and targeted manner to the floor structure. The actuating device strives to maintain its original position in the seat frame structure when a crash occurs.

Seat, particularly a vehicle seat, preferably in an aeroplane

A seat includes a first seat piece () and a further seat piece (), which may be adjusted for inclination by a controllable operating device (). The operating device () engages the further seat piece () by at least two adjusters (), which are moved by a common drive mechanism () with a mechanical coupling () between the adjusters (), for an effectively uniform motion. A uniform inclination adjustment of the further seat piece, such as backrest and/or leg rest is achieved. The drive includes an actuator device with a longitudinally displaceable operating piece (), engaged with a rocker (), connected to an adjuster piece () and operating the mechanical coupling (), with a further rocker (), for the other adjuster ().

In a control and energy supply system for the drive units and control units for at least two, preferably adjacent, aircraft seats, all system components are interconnected via a data bus, so that the control system of the one seat is informed of what is happening to the other seat. The servomotors of the seats can be supplied with power via two separate networks. System failure caused by loose or disconnected plug type connections, cable breakage, short circuits or a failed control unit can be avoided by said redundancy concept.
