The invention relates to a connecting element () for hingedly connecting a wiper blade () to a wiper arm, said wiper blade () having a wiper strip () and at least one sprung blade () inserted into the wiper strip (). Said sprung blade projects beyond the wiper strip () in the area of the connecting element () and is enclosed by guide rails () that are interlinked by at least one spring clip () and secured in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade () by at least one locking element () which laterally engages with a recess () of the sprung blade ().

The invention relates to a method to manufacture a wiper blade () as well as a device to perform the method and a wiper blade () that is manufactured accordingly, wherein the wiper blade () features at least a basic body () featuring a wiper strip () and a supporting element (). According to the method, the basic body () is supposed to be positioned in a holding device () in such a way that a clearance () remains between the supporting element () and holding device () at least in areas. A wiper blade is proposed, which is used to clean windows, in particular of motor vehicles.
