The ratio of useful-signal power to the power of interference signals at an antenna (ANT) having plural sensors, and at least one sensor is obtained by filtering the antenna output signal with a filter having a transfer function (W(t), W(t, f)) equal to the ratio of two linear functions of the power ({circumflex over (p)}(t), {circumflex over (p)}(t, f)) at the output of the antenna to the power {circumflex over (p)}(t), {circumflex over (p)}(t, f)) at the input of the antenna (ANT).

Antenna treatment method and system

A device for processing digital data. A module (M, M) produces on a data vector of the frequency domain Z(k), wherein K varies from 0 to N&#x2212;1, a convolution with a function U, convolution which corresponds to a cancellation in the time domain of the samples of the inverse transform of Z(k). The function U is in the form: U(k)=sin c(k&#x2212;k/2.e)&#x2212;j&#x3c0;(&#x3b1;(k&#x2212;k/2.P(k)), wherein Kis a constant integer and P(k) a weighting window symmetrical about k.

Device for digital processing with frequency filtering and reduced computation complexity

A device is presented for processing digital signals conveyed between a common port and many particular ports. The device includes a linear processing module. The module includes filters, which simultaneously apply a phase-shift and a chosen amplitude emphasis at each of the particular ports. The phase-shift is specific to each particular port, and the amplitude emphasis is substantially the same for all the particular ports. At the common port, the device also includes a common inversion filter, which performs inverse amplitude emphasis to the chosen amplitude emphasis.

Fractional delay digital filter

The output signals of the acoustic sensors of the antenna are subjected to a processing of the superdirective kind, with a constraint as regards the modulus and a non-linear constraint which fixes the incoherent noise reduction. The theoretical formulation of these constraints being as follows ##EQU1## the first constraint signifying that the total transfer function is a pure delay .tau., and the second constraint signifying that a limit is fixed for the incoherent noise reduction. The antenna is provided to improve the near-field reception.
