The invention relates to a pressure oil filter system for a hydraulic transmission, in particular for a motor vehicle transmission, comprising at least one oil pump which can be actuated as required and which has a pressure side and a suction side, a pressure line to a consumer and at least a first oil filter which is arranged at the pressure side of the oil pump in the pressure line, wherein means for damping pressure surges during intermittent operation of the oil pump are provided in the pressure line upstream of the first oil filter in the flow direction of the oil.

Hydraulic oil filter system for a motor vehicle transmission

The disclosure provides a receptacle for a fluid, in particular an engine oil pan or transmission oil pan for a motor vehicle, comprising at least one, in the installed position, lower drain opening and at least one closing body which can be inserted in the drain opening, the drain opening and the closing body forming parts, configured to be complementary to one another, of a closure which seals the receptacle and the closure being in the form of a bayonet closure. The receptacle according to the disclosure is distinguished by the fact that the closing body is centered in the drain opening by a sealing means.

A filter is provided having more than one density of media, or more than one type of media. Three or four types of media may be arranged. Some or all of the media may be of different density material from each other. A spacer grid separates at least two of the media apart. One or more flanges on the spacer each respectively space apart two of the media from each other at a location. The one or more flanges provide a respective flow path through the flange.

An oil sump, preferably made of plastic or metal, for motors or transmissions and having a filter housing, comprises a filter housing top shell, a filter housing bottom shell, a filter medium, a filter inlet, and a filter outlet, and an oil drain opening in the floor area of the oil sump, which is implemented in such a way that it is closable using an oil drain screw having external thread, which comes from the oil sump bottom side. The filter housing comprises an internal thread which is implemented to receive the external thread of the oil drain screw, the filter housing being at least partially fastened on the oil sump via the oil drain screw, which closes the oil drain opening and engages using its external thread in the internal thread on the filter housing side.

A filter device for filtering fluid, in particular an oil filter, is provided. The filter device includes a first filter medium and a second filter medium, the first filter medium having a greater filter action than the second filter medium, and the filter media being folded in pleated form and having a plurality of folds, the first filter medium and the second filter medium being connected to one another in the longitudinal direction of the folds. An easily producible and highly effective filter device is thus achieved.

The present invention provides a suction oil filter device for an engine or a transmission that has an oil inlet and an oil outlet on the filter housing, a suction oil pump connectable to the oil outlet, using which a partial vacuum may be generated between oil inlet and oil outlet, a fine filter medium and an ultrafine filter medium, which are situated between the oil inlet and the oil outlet. The fine filter medium is attached to the oil inlet or to the oil outlet, and the ultrafine filter medium is situated before the fine filter medium in the flow direction and in a secondary flow area of the filter housing. A high filtration performance may thus be achieved at low production outlay.

An oil sump, preferably made of plastic or metal, is provided for engines or transmissions, the oil sump comprising a filter housing including a filter housing top shell, a filter housing bottom shell, a filter medium, a filter inlet, and the filter outlet, and having an oil drain opening in a floor area of the oil sump, implemented in such a way that it is closable using an oil drain screw having external thread, which comes from the oil sump outer side. The oil sump also includes a carrier unit having a frame, on which the filter housing is fastened and which is used as a seal upon fastening of the oil sump on the associated unit, in particular on an engine block or a transmission unit.

The invention relates to an oil filter apparatus comprising an oil inlet and an oil outlet, with a suction oil pump being connectable to the oil outlet with which a negative pressure can be produced between the oil inlet (and the oil outlet, a coarse filter medium and a fine filter medium which is arranged between the oil inlet and the oil outlet, with the oil filter apparatus being capable of allowing a volume share of the oil to pass permanently through the coarse filter medium irrespective of the viscosity of an oil passing through the oil inlet and of allowing at the same time the remaining volume share of the oil to pass through the fine filter medium. The entire oil volume flow can thus be purified in a short period of time with high efficiency, and no additional space is required outside of the transmission or engine, a light and cost-effective configuration is achieved, and the oil filter apparatus can be used in different vehicle models or types of engines without any change and thus without any reduction in the variety of variants.

A multilayer composite filter medium for serial filtration with an onflow side and an outflow side with respect to a medium to be filtered, the filter medium comprising at least two filter layers of the same or different filter media and the filter layers being welded to one another at defined points and/or areas over the complete surface, and at least one filter medium being arranged on the onflow side and at least one filter medium being arranged on the outflow side. Further subject-matters of the invention are a method of producing the composite filter medium, use of the composite filter medium and a filter containing the composite filter medium according to the invention.
