A device for accommodating and for releasing a payload on an aerial vehicle having a mounting frame for accommodating the payload, a linear mover for positioning in a cavity of the aerial vehicle, the mover having a base and at least one holding element, and a release device on the mounting frame. The mounting frame has a largely planar opening area surrounded by an opening edge, wherein the mover is coupled with the mounting frame on a side of the mounting frame facing away from the opening area by the at least one holding element. The mover can move the mounting frame linearly and vertically to the opening area at a variable distance from the base, and the release device can hold the payload in the mounting frame and release it selectively from the mounting frame, where necessary, via the opening edge and in a direction away from the base.

A fuselage for an aircraft. The fuselage has a control element with an integrated engine outlet. The control element is integrated at a rear end of the fuselage, so that the control element terminates flush with an outer skin of the fuselage in a circumferential direction of the fuselage. An outer wall of the control element surrounds the engine outlet wherein the engine outlet is directed towards an open rear side of the control element. The control element is connected to the fuselage such that the control element jointly the engine outlet is pivotable about a rotation axis with respect to the fuselage. The rotation axis runs transversely to a longitudinal direction of the fuselage and the control element functions as a tailplane when pivoting about the rotation axis.

An air inlet device for an air inlet of an aircraft. The air inlet device has air guide arrangements. An air guide arrangement has an inlet plate, an outlet plate, and pivot plates arranged therebetween. The outlet plate and the pivot plates can be rotated about a central axis of the air inlet device by adjustment rings, so that the air guide arrangement is transitioned from a linear state to a curved state, and vice versa. The air inlet device allows for selective switching between a state with low radar signature and a state with high performance of an engine.

The invention relates to an aircraft which can both take off and land vertically and can hover and also fly horizontally at a high cruising speed. The aircraft has a support structure, a wing structure, at least three and preferably at least four lifting rotors and at least one thrust drive. The wing structure is designed to generate a lifting force for the aircraft during horizontal motion. To achieve this the wing structure has at least one mainplane provided with a profile that generates dynamic lift. The wing structure is preferably designed as a tandem wing structure. Each of the lifting rotors is fixed to the support structure, has a propeller and is designed to generate a lifting force for the aircraft by means of a rotation of the propeller, said force acting in a vertical direction. The thrust drive is designed to generate a thrust force on the support structure, said force acting in a horizontal direction. The lifting rotors can have a simple construction, i.e. they can have a simple rigid propeller for example, and a vertical take-off or hovering of the aircraft can be controlled, in a similar manner to quadcopters, by a simple control of the speeds of the lifting rotors. High cruising speeds can be achieved as a result of the additional horizontally acting thrust drive.
