A filling apparatus for a rotary tablet press, which itself being arranged stationarily is associated to a circulating die plate of a rotor of the tablet press, with a filling chamber, which features an upper inlet opening for powder-shaped compression material and a filling opening aligned with die bores of the die plate, and with a conveying means in the filling chamber driven by a drive motor, wherein the filling chamber is circular, one single disc-shaped filling wheel is rotatably mounted around a vertical axis in the filling chamber, which has plural wings on the perimeter, spaced apart in the perimeter direction, which sweep over the filling opening upon rotation of the filling wheel, and the inlet opening is arranged in a distance above the filling wheel, preferably approximately centered with the axis of the filling wheel.

Filling apparatus for a rotary tablet press

A rotor for a rotary tablet press, which has an upper and a lower punch guide for upper and lower punches that interact with holes in a die plate that is arranged between the upper and lower punch guide, where the punches are axially movable in guide holes of the punch guides and have heads that interact with compression rollers of the tablet press, wherein the press punches are guided axially in the guide holes secure against rotation, and the punch heads have on opposite sides flat areas that are facing the adjacent punch heads.

Rotor for a rotary tablet press

A rotor for a rotary tablet press, which has an upper and a lower punch guiding for upper and lower punches, which co-operate with bores of a die plate which is arranged between the upper and the lower punch guiding, wherein the punches have shafts, which are sealedly axially movable in guiding bores of the punch guidings by means of a sealing arrangement, and wherein means act between the shafts and the guiding bores which prevent a rotation of the pressing punches in the punch guidings, characterised in that the shafts have an out of round profile in the cross section, and the cross section of the guiding bores is complementary.

A tablet press with a rotor, which is rotatably mounted in a stand of the tablet press and which has an upper punch accommodation for the upper punches and a lower punch accommodation for the lower punches of the tablet press, as well as a die plate with a series of die bores which are aligned with the upper and the lower punches, wherein the die plate consists of at least two ring segments which can be attached on the rotor by means of a fastening device, wherein clamping elements are arranged in axis parallel passages of the rotor spaced apart in the perimeter distance, which act against the ring segments from the bottom side and clamp against an abutment surface of the rotor, characterized in that at least one drive device for the clamping elements is arranged in the stand of the tablet press, with a coupling element adjustable in the height, which can be selectively set into engagement with the lower end of the clamping element.

A rotary tablet press, with a rotor driven by a driving motor, which has a die plate as well as an upper and a lower guiding for upper and lower punches, which co-operate with bores of the die plate, a stationary housing closely surrounding the rotor, which constitutes a pressing room, and with at least one ring-shaped sealing arrangement, which seals the housing against a punch guiding, wherein the sealing arrangement has a ring-shaped holder inside the housing, wherein the ring-shaped holder is axially movable between a first and a second position by means of a stationarily arranged lifting device, the sealing arrangement has a first sealing portion, which is continuously in engagement with a first sealing surface of the housing in the first and in the second position, and a second sealing portion which is in engagement with a second sealing surface of the punch guiding with a first sealing force in the first position and is in engagement with the second sealing surface in the second position either with a second sealing force, which is smaller than the first sealing force, or is out of engagement with the same.
