A contact element for electrically connecting an electrical conductor with an electrical assembly includes two contact rails extending in a longitudinal direction. The rails are arranged one above the other and are at a distance from one another in a contact direction and are also connected to each other via a connection piece. The connection piece is arranged at a first side of the contact rails and extends in the longitudinal direction and in the contact direction so that the contact element is formed in an approximately U-shaped manner in a cross section transversely to the longitudinal direction which runs through the connection piece.

Contact element and multiple contact assembly

A plug connection assembly includes a wall with a wall bushing and a plug connection which penetrates the wall bushing. The plug connection includes a first plug connector on one side of the wall and a second plug connector connected with the first plug connector on a second side of the wall by plugging the first and second connectors together. The second plug connector is arranged on a printed circuit board and the first plug connector includes a shield support in the form of a shielding plate. The shield support is held in contact with the printed circuit board.

A series module assembly particularly for drive technology includes a bus system and series modules arranged in side by side in a row on a mounting base. The series modules each have an electronics housing in which at least one electronic element is arranged. The bus system includes busbars that extend outside of the electronics housing, wherein at least one of the busbars can be electrically connected to the electronic element of one of the series modules via a plug assembly. The series module assembly is designed for wall mounting. The bus bars are pre-assembled with a mounting and bus rail and anchored to the wall. The mounting and bus rail is configured so that the series modules can be mounted on the mounting and bus rail in a direction parallel to the wall in order to establish contact with the busbars. The mounting and bus rail can be adjustably mounted at a selected distance from the wall.

Series module assembly with a power bus system

A direct plug-in compression spring terminal includes a bus bar for contacting an electrical conductor, and a clamping spring for fastening the electrical conductor in the direct plug-in compression spring terminal, wherein the clamping spring has a clamping arm that can be pivoted in a clamping direction about a clamping axis, and an actuating device for pivoting the clamping bar. In an open state, in which the electrical conductor can be inserted into the direct plug-in compression spring terminal, the clamping arm is pivoted against the clamping direction against a restoring force of the clamping spring. In a clamping state, in which the electrical conductor is clamping in the direct plug-in compression spring terminal, the clamping arm is pivoted in the clamping direction by the restoring force of the clamping spring. In the open state, the actuating device is locked in the direct plug-in compression spring terminal and additionally clamped to the clamping arm.

An electrical module arrangement for supplying electrical power to a printed circuit board mounted within the housing of an electrical module, including a plug-in electrical connector mounted in an opening contained in an end wall of the module housing. The connector is of the conductive leaf spring S-shaped type, including two reversely-bent portions defining oppositely directed recesses for receiving a bus bar voltage source and a planar contact of the printed circuit board, respectively. In a modification, the leaf spring is W-shaped including three bends, thereby permitting connection of the PCB contact with two separate parallel spaced bus bar arrangements. A plurality of the modules are supported in side-by-side relation either by mounting the module housings on a common mounting rail, or by connecting the plug-in connectors to a common bus bar mounted on a fixed support.

Series module arrangement with an energy bus system

An electrical connector for connecting the bare end of a horizontal conductor with a horizontal printed circuit board, including a sectional housing having a base member seated on the printed circuit board. The base member contains an open-topped chamber and includes a vertical front wall the upper edge of which contains a vertical slot communicating with the chamber. A cover member is normally seated on the base member to close the chamber and the upper end of the slot. A lower electrically conductive cage member is arranged in the bottom of the chamber for electrical connection with the printed circuit board. The cover member is removable from the base member to open the tops of the chamber and the slot, thereby to permit the horizontal conductor bare end to be displaced laterally vertically downwardly into the slot and housing chamber toward electrical engagement with the lower cage member.
