A sterile container is provided, especially for receiving and containing surgical instruments or material in sterile conditions, comprising a receiving area formed by a container bottom and container walls, a lid for sealing the receiving are, and a gas exchange opening which can be sealed by a sterile filter maintained in a filter holder. In order to simplify replacement of the sterile filter and to simplify the production of the lid, the sterile filter and filter holder form a filter unit and the filter holder is mounted on the lid.

Sterile container

The invention relates to a sterile container, especially for receiving and storing surgical instruments or material in sterile conditions, comprising and receiving area formed by a container bottom and container walls, a lid for sealing the receiving area, and a gas exchange opening which can be sealed by a sterile filter. In order to enable the sterile filter to be replaced in a simple manner, a filter unit is provided, comprising the sterile filter, a support and a holding element, the sterile filter is maintained between the support and the holding element and the filter unit is mounted on the lid and/or bottom of the container.

A lid for closing a sterile receptacle is provided. The receptacle is formed by a container bottom and container walls and defines a holding space. The lid comprises an angular cover plate which has a plurality of lid corners and closes the holding space in a closure position, such that it can be quickly and securely mounted on the receptacle and transferred to the closure position. A mounting aid is provided for mounting the lid on the receptacle. The mounting aid includes a plurality of mounting aid elements that each overlap at least one container wall at least partly in the closure position.

Sterile container and lid for a sterile container

The invention relates to a sterile container, in particular for the receipt and sterile storage of surgical instruments or material, comprising a receiving chamber and a gas exchange opening that can be sealed using a sterile filter. The aim of the invention is to prevent undesired liquid from reaching the sterile filter. To achieve this, the exterior of the lid is provided with at least one inflow edge, which faces away from the gas exchange opening, and falls away towards the exterior in relation to a lid plane.

In order to improve a lid for closing a receptacle, which is formed by a container bottom and container walls and defines a holding space, of a sterile container which comprises the lid and which is developed in particular for holding surgical instruments or material and preserving the latter in a sterile state, wherein the lid comprises an angular cover place which has a plurality of lid corners and closes the holding space in a closure position, such that it can be quickly and securely mounted on the receptacle and transferred to the closure position, it is proposed that the lid should have a mounting aid for mounting the lid on the receptacle, that the mounting aid should comprise a plurality of mounting aid elements and that the mounting aid elements should each overlap at least one container wall at least partly in the closure position. It is further proposed that a sterile container be improved by comprising such a lid for closing a receptacle.

The present invention involves a plate-shaped filter holder for use with a sterilizing container. The filter holder comprises a peripheral outer pressure rim, a central pressure region, a mounting device for fixing the filter holder on the sterilizing container and including webs between the outer pressure rim and the central pressure region which leave open breakthroughs therebetween. In order to prevent undesirable deformations in the filter holder, the webs extend at least partially in a direction which comprises a component in the peripheral direction.

In order, in the case of a sterile container for medical purposes having a tub-shaped lower portion and a lid positionable thereon in sealing manner, which lid may be clamped against the lower portion by a closure, wherein the closure comprises a flap swivellable between an open position and a closed position, said flap having a locking projection, and a locking lug with a recess for accommodating the locking projection when the flap is in the closed position, to be able better to accommodate structural tolerances, it is proposed that the locking projection be mounted in the flap so as to resiliently displaceable in a direction in which it is moved out of the recess in the locking lug.
