A chamber doctor for inking a cylinder in a printing machine, which cylinder has depressions for receiving ink. The chamber doctor includes a chamber doctor body, at least one doctor blade, and lateral side parts, the chamber doctor body, the at least one doctor blade and the side parts being arranged to define an ink chamber that is open toward the cylinder. The doctor blade is movably supported at the chamber doctor body. The doctor blade is movable relative to the chamber doctor body so that the doctor blade is automatically readjusted to compensate for wear, and further so that parts of the doctor blade and chamber doctor body which come into contact with ink are movable away from one another.

An inking device for inking a screen roller of a printing machine includes an ink supply device with an ink reservoir that are removable as one unit from the printing machine easily and without tools. The ink reservoir is separable from the ink supply device. The ink reservoir is filled using an ink cartridge. The printing ink is conveyed under pressure from the ink reservoir to the ink supply device in a supply line. The ink is pressed into the cups or hatchings of the inking device roller via the supply line by using a pump or a conveying roller.

Inking device for a rotary printing machine

A device for inking a cylinder having depressions therein including a chamber doctor body to which a holder is pivotally connected, the holder being connected to a doctor blade. A force is applied to the holder causing the holder to pivot and force the doctor blade to contact the cylinder. The force may be adjustable aiding in compensating for wear of the doctor blade.
