A rotary-type furnace for conditioning preforms with a heating wheel at which several heating modules for heating one preform each are arranged, wherein the heating modules are each a heating chamber and a holding device for the preform. The furnace has a lifting device for lifting and lowering the holding device and/or the heating chamber to change between a loading or withdrawal position, in which the preform does not overlap with the heating chamber in the direction of its main axis, and a radiation position in which a section of the preform is arranged within the heating chamber, a particularly quick and reliable transfer from an infeed starwheel can be realized.

A blow molding machine for containers, having a conveyor path carrying a mandrel holder and pre-forming mandrels attached to the mandrel holders in an exchangeable manner by means of removable couplings, wherein each coupling has a mandrel clamping mechanism and a releasing element accessible form outside that can be adjusted at least relative to the mandrel holder for releasing the clamping mechanism. In the mandrel holder, particularly for use in a blow molding machine, the mandrel clamping mechanism is designed with a ball joint lock, and the ball joint lock can be released by means of a releasing element in order to exchange a performing mandrel.

Blow molding machine for containers and mandrel holder

A device () for the handling of containers with a mandrel (), the cross-section of which is adjusted to the cross-section of one of the containers to be handled, whereby the mandrel () is displaceable, relative to the support device (), along a direction of movement (L) between a resting position and a working position. The device has a spacing element () which is displaceable relative to the mandrel () in a direction of displacement (R) between at least two positions, whereby the direction of displacement (R) and the direction of movement form an angle with one another that differs by 0&#xb0;, and whereby this spacing element is constructed in such a manner that the working position of the mandrel () in the direction of movement (L) is changed through a shifting of the spacing element.
