A device for non-destructive inspection of a conveyor belt made from an elastomeric material has a carrying side for the goods to be conveyed, a running side, and an embedded strength support, whereby the conveyor belt is set in motion. A radiation source emits rays in the direction of the belt surface, which rays are so energy-rich that they pass through the conveyor belt, whereby a process computer evaluates the result of the irradiation test.

The invention relates to a control device for a conveyor comprising an elastomeric conveyor belt which is provided with a carrying side for transporting material and a pulley side and comprises, in particular an embedded strength support, an optoelectronic system for optically detecting the belt surface, in particular the carrying side thereof in such a way that it is possible to identify a damage during functioning and to stop the conveyor in the case of a critical situation of the conveyor belt and timely repair it, a process control computer which is connected to said optoelectronic system and used for evaluating all data and interacts, in particular with a traction control, and different other elements of the conveyor, namely a non-driven drum, carrying rollers, a supporting structure and, if necessary other components. The inventive device is characterised in that the totality of the conveyor belt is divided into terminal sectors and each sector is provided with a distinct address in such a way that the sector marking is formed and the detection of each marking is carried out in a contactless manner by means of a first sensing unit, each of the sections is defined by an initial marking whose detection is also contactlessly carried out by means of a second sensing unit, the movable element of the conveyor is provided with an encoding unit and the first and second sensing units and the encoding unit are connected to the process control computer.

Control device for a conveyor

The invention relates to a conductor loop, embedded in a polymer, in particular an elastomeric material, in the form of a flex construction, comprising a single flex, or multiple flexes, whereby each flex, for its part, comprises at least two individual wires, in particular, as a component of a transport belt, with a support side, a running side and an embedded tensile support, whereby the transport belt is provided with at least one conductor loop. The conductor loop is characterized in being embodied as an open flex helix, whereby each individual wire is enclosed by polymeric material.

A device for coding and making conveyor belts. A conveyor belt made of plastic, rubber or rubber-like material has a carrying side and a running side. A coding and marking system is completely embedded in an edge of the carrying or running side of the conveyor belt, such that the profile and function of the belt are not impaired. The coding and marking system includes a plurality of detectable material particles fixedly embedded in a matrix of plastic, rubber or a rubber-like material. The particles are completely enclosed in the matrix and disposed at predetermined locations relative to one another. A static scanner reads and detects the particles as the conveyor belt moves past the scanner.

The invention relates to a device for controlling and monitoring a conveyor belt which is made of rubber or a rubber-like plastic material and preferably provided with embedded reinforcements. By overlapping of the longitudinal edges of the conveyor belt the belt can be closed such that it forms a tubular conveyor belt which is supported on all sides by idler wheels. The device also comprises at least the following components: at least one detectable element which is integrated into the conveyor belt and notably takes the form of several elements which in the longitudinal and/or transverse direction are positioned at distances from each other; and at least one scanning unit with which the precise position of the belt can be determined in a non-contacting manner by detection of the element or elements. The device provided for by the invention is characterized in that the detectable element is an induction loop and/or a transponder, a metal particle or a permanent magnet. The scanning unit is advantageously configured as a system of several detector elements which form a detector chain.

Device for controlling and monitoring a conveyor belt, notably a tubular conveyor belt

The present invention relates to a device for continuously monitoring the junction of a conveyor belt which is made of rubber or a rubber-type plastic material and which comprises supports inserted therein for reinforcing the same. In an advantageous embodiment, the device essentially comprises the following constituent members for the junction area: mainly four reference marks, two addresses as well as four detection heads, the heads being located above the carrier surface of the conveyor belt. This invention further relates to other advantageous embodiments of this device.
