An active chassis for a two-track vehicle provided with a wheel suspension. A wheel carrier carrying a vehicle wheel is connected via connecting rod to the vehicle structure. The camber behavior of the vehicle wheel is defined by a mechanical camber curve of the vehicle wheels that is predetermined by the rigid kinematics of the connected rods, which defines a mechanical adjustment of the camber angle of the vehicle wheel depending on a spring path of the vehicle structure, and which is controllable with an actuator controller which can be controlled by a chassis control device.

A wheel carrier for a two-track motor vehicle including a wheel-side carrier part, which carries a vehicle wheel; an axle-side guide part; axle-side rotary parts arranged between the wheel-side carrier part and the axle-side guide part and supported on a common bearing site for rotation relative to each other about a rotation axis by respective rotation angles, wherein the carrier part is pivotable about the rotation axis about a pivot point for toe and/or camber adjustment of the vehicle wheel by rotation of at least one of the rotary parts by the respective rotation angle into a rotary position, which correlates with a toe and/or camber angle of the vehicle wheel, wherein the toe and/or camber angle being arbitrarily adjustable within a toe and/or camber angular range. Wheel carrier for a two-track motor vehicle

Device for adjusting camber and/or toe of a vehicle wheel

A brake system for a motor vehicle includes separate first and second brake circuits associated to first and second vehicle axles, respectively, and rigidly connected to each other. Hydraulic brake pressure is supplied by a first brake piston of a master cylinder to the first brake circuit and by a second brake piston to the second brake circuit. Operably connected to the first vehicle axle is an electric motor and operates as a recuperator, with a blending device withdrawing hydraulic fluid from the first brake circuit during a recuperation phase of the electric motor. A partition wall between the first and second brake pistons subdivides the master cylinder into a first pressure chamber associated to the first brake piston, and a separate second pressure associated to the second brake piston. A connectable and disconnectable floating piston enables a hydraulic communication between the first and second brake circuits with one another.

Brake system having a blending capability

A roof rack assembly for a motor vehicle includes roof rails having a recess and constructed to be fastened on a vehicle roof of the motor vehicle. A load carrier to be installed on the roof rails has a mounting projection engaging with the roof rails through the recess when the load carrier is installed and cooperating with a mounting receptacle for retaining the load carrier. The recess is closed by a cover when the load carrier is not installed, with a detection device detecting a cover state of the recess. A device for adjusting the camber and/or the toe of a vehicle wheel of a motor vehicle includes a wheel carrier, which has a wheel-side carrier part and an axle-side guide part, between which rotary parts that can be rotated relative to each other are arranged, wherein at least one of the rotary parts can be adjusted in both rotational directions by means of a drive and a gear stage in order to adjust the toe and/or the camber. The gear stage for the rotary part is configured as harmonic drive gear train having a driving, elliptical drive disk, and a stationary, internally toothed ring gear.
