The direct drive for a throttle valve shaft in a throttle valve manifold comprises a coil and a rotor arranged directly adjacent to the coil. The rotor is made from a steel ring inside which a first inner magnetic shell and a second inner magnetic shell lie opposite each other. The steel ring has a first outer magnetic shell and a second outer magnetic shell lying opposite each other on the outside thereof. The steel ring is connected to the throttle valve shaft on the end thereof facing the throttle valve. A sensor for position recognition of the throttle valve is arranged in the middle of that region of the end of the steel ring facing away from the throttle valve.

Throttle body

The invention relates to a magnetic position sensor in the case of which at least two stator elements are arranged in a magnetic field and a magnetic field probe is located in the measuring air gap between the stator elements, a means tracking a moving object being arranged parallel to the plane defined by the stator elements. A magnetic position sensor which can be produced simply and cost-effectively has a stator element and a magnetic field probe which are arranged on a common supporting element.

A load displacement device for a motor vehicle has a servomotor drivable in two directions of rotation and driving a coupling gear wheel which is guided by a coupling lever. An electromagnet swings the coupling lever against the force of a spring in order to bring the coupling gear wheel into engagement with the teeth of a second gear wheel. The teeth of the coupling gear wheel and/or of the second gear wheel are asymmetrically developed in order to produce a flat engagement angle between teeth of the gear wheels. The flat engagement occurs in both directions of rotation of the second gear wheel and the coupling gear wheel. No tooth displacement forces which cause a swinging of the coupling lever into a disengaged position occur due to the engagement of the teeth.

In an electric set-point transmitter for automotive vehicles, particularly for gas-pedal systems, having an actuating element and a resistance element which is connected to the actuating element, there is provided within the electric set-point transmitter which forms a structural unit, an electric circuit which comprises an impedance transformer and possibly a stabilization circuit and threshold switch. The resistance element is preferably a conductive-plastic potentiometer, whereby good reliability and the possibility of use at high temperatures are obtained.

In a fuel-injection valve, an armature (7) having upper and lower guide surfaces (12, 13) is arranged within a valve housing (1). Via the upper guide surface (12), the armature (7) is guided in a guide borehole (15) of the valve housing (1) directly below the magnet winding (3) of the fuel-injection valve. In this way the losses of magnetic flux are very small.

In an injection valve for fuel-injection systems for internal combustion engines, the closure member opens in the direction towards the combustion chamber. It has an outer surface which widens towards the combustion chamber. Above the closure member, a swirl chamber is provided in the housing of the injection valve, fuel continuously rotating in said swirl chamber as a result of a continuously open return-flow connection to a valve outlet.

A position indicator which can be coupled to a gas pedal has a housing with a substantially cylindrical hollow inner space. A rotary resistor is arranged fixed against turning in a mount which can be fastened to the housing. A setting shaft for the rotary resistor is connected with a drive shaft of the position indicator so as to be actuated by a turning movement of the drive shaft. The drive shaft and the setting shaft are turned back by at least one restoring spring when the gas pedal is released. A member connected with the drive shaft serves to accommodate the restoring springs and for the arrangement or development of an actuating member for a kick-down switch. In order to be able to adapt the position indicator in diversified fashion to desired restoration characteristics and required characteristic curves of the rotary resistor and to facilitate the final mounting of the position indicator, the latter consists of a first mechanical assembly and a second electrical assembly which can be inserted one after the other into the housing. Upon the insertion of the second electrical assembly the two assemblies are axially aligned with each other. The setting shaft and the member connected with the drive shaft can thus automatically couple with each other.

The invention relates to an arrangement for increasing the idling speed of an internal combustion engine, particularly a diesel internal-combustion engine. It has a setting member for controlling the feed of the fuel, the displacement path of said member being adapted to be limited in the direction towards idle by an idle stop and after a starting process, by a start-quantity stop. In order that such an arrangement be of simple construction and be capable of being manufactured inexpensively, the displacement path can be limited by a plurality of start-quantity stops arranged one behind the other in the idling direction, of which, commencing with the starting process, at given time intervals one after the other, the start-quantity stop furthest from the idle stop can be moved out of the path of displacement of the setting member.

Apparatus for increasing idling speed

The present invention relates to a flow meter, particularly for liquids, having an impeller wheel arranged in a vertical tubular measurement bore and acted on by a flow stream. The impeller wheel has a bearing shaft, the ends of which are rotatably mounted in axially and radially guiding bearings respectively. The impeller wheel has one or more vanes, the flow-on attack surfaces of which are inclined to the direction of oncoming flow of the stream. A sensor detects the rotary frequency of the impeller wheel. A movable wall subdivides a chamber into two chamber halves, one of which communicates with an inlet connection and the measurement bore upstream of the impeller and the other one of which communicates with an outlet connection and the measurement bore downstream of the impeller. In order, with such a flow meter, to make possible in simple manner and at low cost of manufacture a high precision of measurement over the entire measurement range, the bearing shaft is arranged with axial play between the bearings and the impeller wheel is acted on from below by the flow. In this connection, the attack surfaces are so inclined with respect to the direction of flow that the force component, directed in the approach direction, of the force exerted by the flow stream on the impeller wheel is equal to or greater than the weight of the impeller wheel.

Apparatus for measuring the fuel consumption of a vehicle has a flowmeter in each of a forward fuel flow line and a return fuel flow line, with a device for detecting a difference in the flows and calculating the fuel consumption, wherein a gauging device is associated with at least one of the lines for adjusting the apparatus to obtain identical signals from each of the flowmeters under conditions where forward flow is substantially the same as return flow, thereby eliminating the necessity of selecting matched pairs of flowmeters for the flow lines.
