The invention relates to a device () for equipping containers (), preferably with labels () or prints. The device has at least one equipping device () for equipping containers () and a planar drive system () with a base element () and at least one movement device (). The at least one movement device () has a container carrier () for holding a container (). The at least one movement device () can be moved to the at least one equipping device () by means of magnetic interaction with the base element () in order to equip the container () held in the container carrier ().
