Brewing apparatus and method for operating a brewing apparatus

A food-preparation apparatus for forming and baking a food product () from a dough portion () in a capsule () includes a housing () having a capsule-handling device () for opening and/or emptying the capsule (), an upper plate (), and a lower plate (), arranged in the housing (). The lower plate can be adjusted in a guide device between a receiving position (A) for receiving the dough portion () from the capsule (), a position of interaction (W) for interacting with the upper plate () for baking and/or forming the dough portion, and an emptying position (E) wherein the lower plate () is inclined relative to a base surface () of the food-preparation apparatus. A coffee machine (), in particular a fully automatic coffee machine, comprising a water tank (), also a heating device () for heating up water, also a brewing unit () for subjecting ground coffee beans to extraction by means of the water heated by the heating device (), also a water-line system () comprising at least one water line, and also a delivery pump () for delivering water out of the water tank () through the water-line system (). A beverage preparation device, in particular a coffee maker, including at least one water pump for supplying water to a first continuous-flow heater (), which is embodied for generating hot water, and to a second continuous-flow heater (), which is also embodied for generating hot water and/or for generating steam, and having a control unit for controlling the at least one pump as well as the continuous-flow heaters () for realizing different operating modes. According to the invention, provision is made for the first continuous-flow heater () to be connected to a first inlet () of a manifold valve () via a first connecting line () and for the second continuous-flow heater () to be connected to a second inlet () of the same manifold valve () via a second connecting line (), and for the manifold valve () to be embodied in such a manner that the first inlet () and the second inlet () are fluidically connected to separate outlets in a first switch position and that the first inlet () as well as the second inlet () are fluidically connected to a common outlet in a second switch position.

Beverage preparation device and operating method

A fully automatic coffee machine () includes an operating unit () having at least one touch sensor () for generating an operating signal, and a signal-conductor () to conduct the operating signal to a logic unit () connected to a coffee-producing assembly. The touch sensor (), signal-conductor () and logic unit () are arranged on a common printed circuit board (). The logic unit () is arranged in a logic section () of the printed circuit board () and the touch sensor () is arranged in a sensor section () on the printed circuit board (). Operating unit for a coffee machine

A coffee machine comprises a frothing device, wherein an internal milk channel leading to a frothing chamber is provided into which opens a bypass air inlet for operable air supply to the frothing device. A flexible milk suction line connects the frothing device with a milk supply container. Means are provided for cleaning the frothing device and the milk suction line with rinsing water from a continuous-flow water heater of the coffee machine. A controlled valve arrangement is provided which feeds rinsing water from the continuous-flow water heater to the bypass air inlet of the frothing device. A milk suction end of the milk suction line is directly or indirectly, fluid-conductively connectable with a residual water pan of the coffee machine prior to feeding rinsing water to the bypass air inlet.
