A hood hinge for a motor vehicle includes a first part attached to a vehicle body part and a second part attached to a front hood. A lifting mechanism is configured to extend the attachment parts from a starting position into a cushioning position in which the front hood is raised from the starting position. A limiter exerts a limiting force on the attachment parts for limiting an extension movement thereof. A deformation element deforms when the force of the limiter acts on at least one attachment part. A stop may contact a counter stop for limiting the deformation of the deformation element.

Hood hinge for a motor vehicle

A hood hinge for a motor vehicle includes a first part attached to a vehicle body part and a second part attached to a front hood. A lift mechanism is configured to extend the attachment parts from a starting position into a cushioning position in which the front hood is raised from the starting position. The lift mechanism includes a first lever coupled to one of the attachment parts and a second lever coupled to the other attachment part for rotation about a rotational axis respectively. The first and second levers are rotatably coupled about a rotational axis. A traction element generates a traction force by extension of the attachment parts, which limits the extension movement thereof.

Hood hinge for a motor vehicle and a motor vehicle

A closing device pivots on a vehicle body between a closing position and an opening position, such as a rear flap of a motor vehicle, with a closing element on the body side and an opposite closing element on the flap side for locking and unlocking the flap and with at least one ejection element. A plunger can be moved in a guide at least between a working position and a rest position, which upon movement into a working position can be tensioned against the force of a tensioning device. The plunger interacts with the flap for the manual opening and closing through the at least partial relaxing of the plunger. The plunger is lockable and unlockable through a locking device in a locking position in which it is tensioned at least as far as to the working position.

Closing device for vehicle flap, method for the assembly of a flap arrangement

A connecting element for a vehicle body substructure and a panel element having different heat expansion coefficients are provided. The connecting unit penetrates an opening in a plate of the substructure. A plate of the paneling element is held with play in the direction of its surface normal is in a groove of the connecting unit. The connecting unit includes a bushing having two parts that are moveable against one another in the direction of the surface normal, between which the other plate is held.

Motor vehicle body

A closure device is provided for opening and/or re-closing a wall element, with an unlocking/locking device for opening and re-closing the wall element. A holding device is provided by which the wall element is arranged in a first function position from which it is re-closed again or by which the wall element is arranged in a second function position, from which the wall element is openably held. A control device is provided that releases a tensioning device of the unlocking/locking device. For a first release period with which the wall element is loaded with a force in the direction of the second function position. When the wall element on actuation of an actuating device is closed or arranged in the first function position and at least locks the tensioning device after the second release period when the wall element on actuating the actuating means is opened.

In the case of a motor vehicle, in particular a passenger motorcar, with a body in which at least one opening, such as a door opening, a trunk opening or the like is provided, which can be closed off by a pivotably articulated covering element, such as a door, a tail gate, a trunk lid or the like, which has an outer skin and a support structure and at least one function element arranged in between, which is connected to the outer skin, the function element is provided to stiffening structures and directly connected to the support structure.

Motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car

An apparatus is provided for controlling an automated closure panel in a vehicle. The apparatus includes a command module configured to generate a control signal. A motor is configured to actuate the automated closure panel based upon the control signal. A motor sensor is configured to measure an output characteristic of the motor, with the motor sensor having a motor sensor output signal. An adaptive logic module is coupled to the command module and to the motor sensor. The adaptive logic module is configured to provide an output to the command module to thereby adjust the control signal, wherein the adaptive logic module is configured to determine when the automated closure panel is obstructed by an obstacle based upon the motor sensor output signal.
