A plug connector system is described. The plug connector system includes: a plug connector; a housing on which the plug connector is installed; the housing having an opening having a first inner wall; the plug connector having a sheet-metal shield that projects at least in portions into the opening; a ring being disposed in the opening and, with an outer wall, electrically contacting the first inner wall of the opening; the sheet-metal shield electrically contacting, with a further outer wall of the sheet-metal shield, a second inner wall of the ring.

Plug connector with improved shielding and method of producing the same

A wiring harness plug connector. The wiring harness plug connector encompasses a contact carrier and at least one electrical lead. The contact carrier has at least one passthrough conduit for the at least one electrical lead. The at least one electrical lead is passed through the passthrough conduit in an insertion direction. The contact carrier has, in front of the at least one passthrough conduit when viewed in the insertion direction, a partition that surrounds a sealing space. Provision is made that the sealing space is filled with a sealant in such a way, and that the sealant at least locally fills up the at least one passthrough conduit in such a way, that the at least one electrical lead is surrounded in fluid-tight fashion.

Wiring harness plug connector

A plug-in system is provided for a control unit of a vehicle, including a plug, such as a cable harness, and a plug module. The plug is designed to produce an electrical connection with the plug module. The plug has a plug body that accommodates a multiplicity of electrical contacts and that has a plug base that is designed to accommodate a shroud of the plug module. In addition, the plug has a plug lever that is designed to be moved from a start position to an end position, while pulling the plug in the direction of the plug module using a lever arm that engages in the plug module. The plug lever can be mounted on the plug body in two orientations, and in both the orientations the lever arm and the plug module engage in one another in such a way that the plug can be pulled in the direction of the plug module.

Electric plug-in system

A connector element includes: at least two contact elements; and at least one latching element which has two diametrically opposed detents, which latching element is situated between the at least two contact elements. The at least one latching element is configured to be pivotable or bendable, and the two contact elements each have a recess for establishing a form-fit connection to one of the detents of the latching element. The recess is further configured to enable the latching element to be pivoted or bent in the direction of one of the two contact elements, so that the form-fit connection between the other contact element and the associated detent is able to be released.

Plug connector having novel primary locking hooks

A plug is provided for producing an electrical connection with a plug module, such as a wiring harness plug for creating an electrical connection with a control device in a motor vehicle. The plug includes a plug body that has a multiplicity of channels for accommodating electrical lines; a mat seal that has a multiplicity of channels for guiding electrical lines accommodated in the channels of the plug body and that is situated on the at least one laterally circumferential radial seal in order to seal the plug; and a pressure plate that has a multiplicity of channels for guiding electrical lines accommodated in the channels of the plug body.

Tight-sealing embodiment of a plug

A plug for establishing an electrical connection to a plug module includes: a plug body having a contact carrier upper part which includes multiple first channels to accommodate electrical lines, and a plug base accommodating a collar of the plug module; a contact carrier lower part which includes multiple second channels to accommodate the electrical lines; and a locking element insertable into the plug from the outside and configured to fix the electrical lines in the channels. The first channels terminate in the second channels to form continuous channels accommodating the electrical lines. The contact carrier lower part is enclosed by the collar of the plug module and accommodates multiple electrical contacts of the plug module in order to establish electrical connections between the multiple electrical lines in the plug and the multiple electrical contacts of the plug module.

Secondary locking mechanism for a plug

In an electrical contact for plug-in connections, in particular for the direct contacting of contact surfaces of a circuit board, the contact having a contact housing which includes an inwardly deflectable primary lance, which outwardly projects beyond the contact housing, counter to the insertion direction, for retaining the contact inserted into a contact chamber of a mating plug, the primary lance has a free end which is offset inwardly relative to its outwardly projecting lance section and extends counter to the insertion direction, which free lance end is outwardly overlapped by a housing stop of the contact housing.

Electrical contact for plug-in connections

A contacting plug for contacting a contact carrier, in particular a circuit board, having two clamping claws able to be pivoted relative to each other, transversely to a plug-in direction, at least one of which is implemented as contact holder carrying at least one flexible contact element, which contact holder is implemented with a contact force for resting on the contact carrier, and a spring arrangement for generating a clamping force that is independent of the contact force. According to the invention, the spring arrangement is designed for bracing exclusively on the contacting plug for generating the clamping force.

A contacting plug for contacting a contract carrier, in particular a circuit board, includes two clamping claws able to be swiveled relative to each other, transversely to a plug-in direction, at least one of the clamping claws being implemented as contact holder carrying at least one flexible contact element, which contact holder is designed to rest on the contact carrier with a contact force and has spring devices for generating a clamping force which is independent of the contact force. The clamping claws have at least one stop face in each case, which rest against each other in the non-contacting state of the contacting plug and thereby prevent plastic deformation of the contact element.

A plug connector for an electrical plug connection including a contact chamber housing, having a plurality of contact chambers for receiving a contact body each, which is introducible into the contact chamber and is primarily engaged in the contact chamber housing in its end position, and having a secondary locking element which is guided displaceably across the direction of introduction of the contact bodies and which, in its locking position, respectively protrudes laterally into the contact chambers with a locking projection for secondarily locking the contact bodies primarily engaged there. The contact chamber housing is subdivided into a plurality of contact chamber housing sections each having at least one series of contact chambers by one or more parallel separating gaps, each of the contact chambers being open toward a separating gap or an outside of the contact chamber housing parallel thereto, the secondary locking element is a frame subdivided into compartments by one or more parallel partitions, the partitions engaging into the separating gaps when the secondary locking element is plugged onto the contact chamber housing, closing the laterally open contact chambers, and the secondary locking element plugged onto the contact chamber housing is displaceably guided across the direction of introduction of the contact bodies into the locking position.

A securing element for protecting against an unintentional release of a plug connection between a cable harness plug and a coupler plug. The securing element is distinguished in that it may easily be mounted on the side of a cable harness plug facing away in the plug-in direction, and, once the securing element has assumed the final position, it additionally causes a region of the locking element provided on the cable harness plug to be blocked. In an advantageous further development, securing element also has a grooved-tube retainer which is integrally joined to the securing element.

Securing element for preventing the release of a plug connection between a cable harness plug and a coupler plug

A coupler plug, in particular for a planar lambda probe, made up of a housing, i.e., a base element and a cover element, as well as electrical components, which may be placed inside in the housing and fixed in place, and a balancing unit for a probe, in particular a planar broad-band lambda probe, which is to be mounted inside the coupler plug or, via an additional contact element, outside the coupler plug, a secondary locking element being provided as locating element to fixate at least one electrical flat plug-connector placed inside in the housing. In addition to the flat plug-connectors, flat contacts are provided in the plug housing, which are able to be fixed in place simultaneously by means of the secondary locking element, the secondary locking element having, on a first level A, receiving device for the flat plug-connectors in the form of a locking plate, and, on an additional level B, a locating device in the form of a locking hook.

To make possible a very small and compact embodiment of a coupler plug, especially for use for a planar broadband lambda probe having an adjusting unit, the coupler plug being essentially made up of a housing, namely a base element and a cover element as well as seals, which seal off the interior of the housing from the exterior, and having an adjusting unit for a probe, especially a planar broadband lambda probe, which is mounted in the coupler plug or outside the coupler plug via a further contact element, it is provided that the cover element and the seals constitute a single part and therefore along with the cover element constitute one non-detachable unit. In this manner, it is assured that the seals, which enclose the individual wires that emerge from the coupler plug, can be mounted in one single working or assembly step.

In wiring harness connectors the function of the locking prong is integrated into the cover of the wiring harness connection that is placed on the connector housing, in such a way as to combine the cover and the further locking unit. The cover and the second locking system are configured as an integral part. Provision is also made for positioning cable outlets on both end faces of the connector.
