The relay with water tight baseplate includes grooves in the region of the baseplate, through which (the grooves) the joining pins of the relay reach, and the inner space between the grooves and the joining pins is tightly filled with a casting mass. For this better distribution of the casting mass, the rabbet canals are arranged in the baseplate and the glue is positioned in the rabbet canals. The rabbets can hereby be formed as one-sided, open profile canals, or also as an enclosed canal system, which simply strikes the region around the grooves with casting mass (FIG. 1). The relay also includes connecting structure between the baseplate and the cap which utilizes rabbet/groove structure filled with casting mass.

Relays with water-tight baseplates

In a miniaturized electromagnetic relay wherein an insulation is provided in a housing separating the magnet and contact system, there are provided a rib integral with the housing having a dogleg for partially encapsulating the armature and a pocket on the actuator for the nesting of a free swivelling end of the armature.

Small-size switching relay in miniature embodiment

The polarized, electromagnetic relay includes a magnet frame, relative to conduit rabbets, with angles-off yoke arrangement, which includes two separated, parallel-arranged yokes, as well as a permanent magnet that lies therebetween and between anchor plates. The two yokes are L-shaped and formed exactly identical, whereby their core shanks stretch over the entire length of the exciter coil, and lie next to each other in the region of the exciter coil. Thereby a mechanically and electrically absolutely symmetrical magnet frame results, whose asymmetry is compensated by losses arising from the air gap. Through the use of individual yokes there ensues a simple assembly in the spring jack, which functions as holding element for all of the parts.

Polarized electromagnetic relay with angled yoke arrangement

The present disclosure refers to a miniature relay with a spring bracket serving for mounting a magnet coil and spring contact bank. The base of the spring bracket is provided with plug or solder connections towards the outside, with a view to providing the most compact construction possible with a simultaneous, far-reaching separation of plug or solder connections for the coil winding and a contact bank. It is also within the context of the present invention that the longitudinal axis of the magnet coil is arranged perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the spring contact bank.

Miniature relay

An electromagnetic relay especially such a relay with a spring jack, that serves for holding the magnet coil and the contact spring jump. In the simplest form of the relay, it includes the feature that the individual contact springs of the contact spring jump are provided with one piece fitted flat plugs, which are positioned in grooves in the ground wall of the spring jack, and in such position are securely fixed from the standpoint of strength and form.
