A device for damping the movement of a movably mounted component includes a first, mechanically acting braking device with at least one friction pair, wherein, in order to generate a braking force, a driven friction surface can be rotated about an axis of the first braking device relative to a secured friction surface resting thereon, and a second braking device which is coupled to the first braking device, wherein the friction surfaces of the friction pair, or of at least one of the friction pairs, are pressed against each other in response to a braking force exerted by the second braking device. The second braking device has at least one driven damper surface that can be rotated about an axis of the second braking device and cooperates with at least one secured damper surface to enclose at least one gap in which a viscous damping medium is present that causes a braking force of the second braking device when the at least one driven damper surface is rotated with respect to the at least one secured damper surface.

Device for damping the movement of a movably mounted component

A pull-out guide for pulling a pull-out furniture part out of a basic furniture structure, having at least a first and second guide rails, displaceable relative to one another in and counter to the pull-out direction. The first guide rail has a basic profile and at least one lateral-guidance unit retained on the basic profile and has a lateral-guidance part. The lateral-guidance part, which limits play of the second guide rail relative to the first guide rail in at least a transverse direction extending at right angles to the pull-out direction, interacts with a lateral-guidance surface of the second guide rail. The lateral-guidance unit has an openable and closeable locking device which, in an open state, allows adjustment of the lateral-guidance part in the transverse direction relative to the basic profile of the first guide rail by applying pressure on the lateral-guidance part parallel to the transverse direction, and in a closed state of the locking device, fixes the position of the lateral-guidance part.

Pull-out guide

A device for damping the movement of a movably mounted component comprises a braking device which has a driven damper surface that cooperates with a secured damper surface to enclose a gap in which a viscous damping medium is present that causes a braking force of the braking device when the driven damper surface is rotated with respect to the secured damper surface, the braking force depending on the rotational speed of the driven damper surface. The device also has an additional braking device and a coupling. In the closed state of the coupling, at least one additional damper surface of the additional braking device driven by the movement of the component about an axis of the auxiliary braking device is rotated relative to at least one secured additional damper surface about the axis of the additional braking device, the additional braking device exerting an additional braking force. In the opened state of the coupling, the additional braking device is inactive. The coupling is activated by the braking force exerted by the braking device.

A device for blocking the pull-out movement of pull-out furniture parts including, for each of the pull-out furniture parts, a driver, a blocking unit which has a shiftable actuating, and a retraction spring and blocking rods which cooperate with the actuating parts, a respective actuating part that is shifted due to movement of the driver when the pull-out furniture part is pulled out and that displaces a blocking rod in a longitudinal axis direction, the blocking rods being blocked from any further axial displacement by a stop. Each of the blocking units has a pivotable catch arm that swivelable about a stationary pivot axis lying parallel to the longitudinal axes of the blocking rods and is loaded by the refraction spring, the catch arm being pivoted by the driver from an initial position to a final position when the pull-out furniture part is pulled out, thereby shifting the actuating part.

Pull-out device for at least two pull-out furniture parts

A closing device for a furniture part having a carrier connected to the movable furniture part or the body part, and a closing lever which is impinged upon by a closing spring, the closing lever having a guide track for the carrier and being pivotable by the carrier when the movable furniture part is opened between a hold-closed position and a standby position, in which the carrier uncouples from the closing lever or which is stationary with respect to the movable furniture part for the carrier connected to the body part. A closing force is exerted by the closing lever onto the carrier as of a use position assumed by the carrier in the guide track. The distance of the carrier in the use position from the lever pivoting axis of the is at least 1.5 times the distance of the carrier in the closed position from the pivoting axis.

Pull-closed device for a movably mounted furniture part

A pull-out guide for a furniture part which is pulled out of a basic furniture structure having first and second guide rails, the second guide rail is mounted for displacement over a displacement distance, in and counter to a displacement direction. A braking action of the second guide rail is damped at least at one end of the displacement distance by a stop damper against which a mating stop element runs up. The stop damper includes a lever mounted for pivoting about a pivot axis on the guide rail on which the stop damper is arranged, and has first and second lever arms which can be flexed elastically for damping the braking action of the second guide rail. At a limit value for the pivoting action of the first lever arm, an overload-stop device takes effect and limits the pivoting action of the first lever arm about the pivot axis.

Pull-out guide for a furniture part which can be pulled out of a basic furniture structure

The invention concerns an adjustable hinge that connects two furniture/cabinet components (door and cabinet body) together by means of a cabinet hinge and baseplate. On the cabinet hinge is a spring snap mechanism and connected on it, a hinge arm. This is connected by an adjustment plate with the baseplate and between the hinge arm and adjustment plate, an adjustment screw is located to adjust the both (bilateral) distances. The adjustment screw is screwed through an enclosed elongated hole in the adjustment plate in a thread borehole in the hinge arm. According to the invention, the adjustment screw is designed as a set screw (thread pin), which has on its one end a device for a releasable coupling with a tool and on the other end has a plate with a larger diameter. The bottom surface side of the plate, thus, rests on the baseplate and on the plate's upper surface, the edge of the adjustment plate's elongated hole. It is preferred that the plate's surfaces and the baseplate's surfaces are formed spherical or cone-shaped and that the edge of the elongated hole's edge is strengthened or reinforced. The invention-related adjustable hinge allows the easy, simple, precise and reproducible adjustment of these lateral distances between the door and cabinet without damage to the hinge, while simultaneously, enabling a simpler, easier and cost effective production of the hinge itself.

Adjustable hinge

The invention consists of a mounting plate for cabinet hinges, a baseplate fastened on the cabinet body and an adjusting plate that can be fastened to the cabinet hinge's baseplate, so that a secure fastening of the catch connection results. In order to attain a stabile connection, and at the same time, an easy assembly, the invention has a baseplate that is designed in two parts; a bottom part that can be connected to the cabinet body and an upper part that can be &ldquo;braced with&rdquo; the bottom part, so that the adjusting plate and the upper part, by means of pressure on the adjusting plate resulting from a certain method of a forced sliding motion of the adjusting plate relative to the baseplate, are connected together by at least three linked means, and the connection made by a spring element on the adjusting plate secures against further movement.

Mounting plate for cabinet hinges

The invention is a cabinet hinge that has a hinge arm or hinge fastened on a hinge cup; the hinge arm, that can be adjusted by means of an adjusting plate, can be connected to a fastening baseplate on the cabinet/furniture, and has a catch connection provided in order to make this connection. According to the invention the adjusting plate is a one piece, partially resilient snap-on component that on one side has hook-shaped shanks that link with the baseplate and on the other side has shanks that engage into corresponding catch nose projections of the baseplate when pressure is placed on the adjusting plate by a suitable means forces sliding motion of the adjusting plate relative to the baseplate. Then the resilient component of the adjusting plate is secured against further shifting.
