A sorting device for laminae, especially for inlaid floor laminae of wood, is proposed which has a delivery point in a horizontally extending transport track and a delivery track proceeding from the delivery point. The laminae to be sorted out are lifted up from the transport track and transferred to the delivery track arranged above the transport track by a controllable deflection apparatus which transmits an upwardly directed impulse to the laminae to be sorted out. To support a defined transfer of the sorted laminae to the delivery track, a guide element arranged above the delivery point can be present which is preferably constructed as a suction band conveyor with acceleration effect for the laminae.

Sorting device for laminae

A door is made from a rigid core plate, two side bars, two end bars, a pair of face panels, and a pair of cover sheets. The core plate and bars are cut to respective sizes, and then the bars are manually fitted around the core plate, are pressed against edges of the core plate to form a door core, and are secured together at corners of the core. This core is displaced on an upstream core conveyor to a core-holding station. One of the face panels is loaded manually onto a face-panel conveyor and fed thereby through a glue applicator to a face-panel holding station and one of the cover sheets is manually set in a cover-sheet holding station. The one cover sheet is picked up and laid in a stacking station, then the one face panel is picked up and set atop the one cover sheet, and then the core is picked up and set atop the face panel. The other face panel is manually loaded onto the face-panel conveyor and is fed thereby through the glue applicator to the face-panel holding station and the other cover sheet is manually set in the cover-sheet holding station. Then the other face panel is picked up and laid in the stacking station atop the core plate and the other cover sheet is picked up and laid atop the other face panel. Finally the stack in the transfer station is transferred into a press.

Semiautomatic system for making doors

An arrangement for pressing flat workpieces that includes first and second heatable pressure plates forming a continuous channel therebetween and movable toward each other. First and second transport and pressure belts are associated with the first and second pressure plates, respectively. Each belt is endless and movable through the continuous channel. At least one electrically conductive abrading device is disposed in the exit region of the first transport and pressure belt from the first pressure plate with the abrading device in contact with the first transport and pressure belt.
