Plant and process for cleaning and degassing a fibrous suspension. The plant includes a plurality of hydrocyclones, in which each hydrocyclone includes an intake connection, an accepts connection, and a rejects connection and at least two supply lines for feeding liquids into the plurality of hydrocyclones. At least two accepts lines, coupled to the accepts connections of the plurality of hydrocyclones, are structured and arranged to combine liquids cleaned of contaminants in the plurality of hydrocyclones, and at least one accepts draining pipe coupled to the at least two accepts lines is structured and arranged to open directly into a further line downstream. Plant for cleaning and degassing a fibrous suspension

Process and device for dispersing a fibrous paper web which comprises a substantially consistent fibrous paper material. The device includes an inlet for fibrous paper material, a stationary stator, and at least one rotatable rotor. The stator and the at least one rotor form a pulverizing zone including a pulverizing element located near the inlet for the fibrous paper material, the pulverizing element including least one of scrapers and knives for pulverizing the fibrous material into a fine, friable material; a vapor chamber forming a ring about the pulverizing zone, the vapor chamber being for calefying the fine, friable material formed by the pulverizing element; and a dispersing zone including at least one row of teeth on the stator and at least one row of teeth on the at least one rotor which can be moved relative to the at least one row of teeth of the stator.

Process and device for the dispersion of a fibrous paper material

Connection device and process for connecting a hydrocyclone to a distribution and collection device, in which distribution and collection device includes connection openings for addition or removal of liquid during operation of the hydrocyclone. Connection device includes a pipe piece having an insertion side structured and arranged to be insertable through one of the connection openings into distribution and collection device. The insertion side includes a circumferential groove and a radial protrusion positioned adjacent circumferential groove, and radial protrusion has an outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the one connection opening and is structured to remain within distribution and collection device. A ring-shaped seal, structured and arranged to extend from exterior of distribution and collection device to interior of distribution and collection device, has an outer diameter greater that inner diameter of the one connection opening, and ring-shaped seal is positionable in a tensioned state in circumferential groove.

Connection device for connecting a hydrocyclone

Process for preparing dry broke in one of a paper, cardboard or coating machine. The process includes diluting the dry broke to a consistency of between about 15 to 60%, and slushing the dry broke with shear forces sufficient to crush filler particles in the dry broke.

Process for dispersing a fibrous paper web which comprises a substantially consistent fibrous paper material. The process includes loosening and pulverizing a fibrous paper material into a fine, friable fibrous material; guiding the fine, friable fibrous material into a vapor chamber in which at least one of a gaseous and vaporous heating medium mixes, calefies, and disperses the fine, friable fibrous material; and dispersing the fine, friable fibrous material in a disperser zone, the disperser zone and the vapor chamber being located in one device. The process is designed for the flotation of interfering materials from an aqueous fibrous pulp suspension and is in particular used in the processing of printed or used paper that is otherwise contaminated. The separation of gas bubbles of the suspension occurs in a flotation layer that has a maximum thickness of approximately 100 mm. The process also achieves good flotation results in fibrous pulp suspensions that have a fiber pulp content significantly larger than 1% by weight, for example around 2% by weight. A flotation apparatus is provided for performing the flotation process. The apparatus includes a flotation vessel, an inlet, an outlet, and a skimmer device.
