The luminous area of a lighting apparatuswith a rectangular luminous area is made up in modular fashion from individual rectangular luminous modules. The basic set comprises a first luminous moduleof a first size, a second luminous moduleof a second size, a third luminous module, whose length corresponds to the length of the first luminous moduleand whose width corresponds to the width of the second luminous module, and a fourth luminous module, whose length corresponds to the width of the first luminous moduleand whose width corresponds to the length of the second luminous module. By combining the luminous modules it is possible to produce backlighting for a multiplicity of display sizes.

Method for the production of an illumination device and illumination device

The invention relates to an optoelectronic component, having a semiconductor chip () which is mounted on a flexible chip support (), in which conductor tracks () for electrically connecting the semiconductor chip () are embodied on a first main face, and on which a housing frame () is disposed that is filled with a radiation-permeable medium, in particular a filler compound. A display device, an illumination or backlighting device, and a method for producing components of the invention are also disclosed.
