A method for generating an emergency call as well as an emergency sensing device and a mobile phone for executing this method. An emergency event is triggered on the emergency sensing device. When detecting the emergency event, the emergency sensing device activates a transmitter and transmits an emergency signal via a wireless communication interface to the mobile phone. The mobile phone establishes an emergency call to a predefined destination, when receiving via the wireless communication interface such emergency signal from the emergency sensing device.

The invention relates to a method of listening in to calls between two or more subscribers of a communications network comprising one or more IP networks as well as to a listening server, a call control server, and an IP router for carrying out the method. When the listening server detects a request to monitor one of the subscribers, it determines at least one call control server assigned to the subscriber. Further, at least one IP router is determined which is responsible for a network access point of the subscriber to the IP network or IP networks. The listening server causes the at least one determined call control server to acquire call data associated with calls in which the subscriber is involved. Further, the at least one determined IP router is caused to acquire contents data associated with calls in which the subscriber is involved.

To route the call through the IP network (IPNET), the server (SERV) of the IP network (IPNET) is contacted, which controls the routing of the call through the IP network (IPNET). If the server (SERV) determines that the call is directed to a telephone terminal (TE to TE ) of a telephone network (TELENET , TELENET ), it will contact a server (NPS) of this telephone network (TELENET ). The server (SERV) of the IP network will request from the server (NPS) of the telephone network number portability information about the telephone terminal (TE ) to which the call is directed. Based on the requested number portability information, the server (SERV) of the IP network will determine from a set of VOIP gateways (GW , GW ) available between the IP network (IPNET) and the telephone network (TELENET ) that gateway (GW ) through which the call (VCON) is to be routed into the telephone network (TELENET ), and initiate the routing of the call through this VOIP gateway (GW ) into the telephone network (TELENET ).

Method for routing service calls in a telecommunication network, as well as a telecommunication network, switching center and program module therefor

The invention relates to a method of intercepting calls between two or more subscribers (A, B) of a communications networks (KOM) and to an interception manager and a service control platform for supporting the implementation of the method. For each of the calls, at least one of a plurality of service control points (SCP to SCP ) can be triggered by a service switching point (SSP to SSP ). The communications traffic between service switching points (SSP to SSP ) of the communications network and the service control points (SCP to SCP ) is routed through an interception manager (LIM) which is central to all service control points. The central interception manager (LIM) is triggered for a call when one (SCP ) of the service control points (SCP to SCP ) is triggered for this call by one (SSP ) of the service switching points (SSP to SSP ). When triggered for a call, the central interception manager (LIM) monitors the communications traffic between the respective service switching point (SSP ) and the respective service control point (SCP ) for the respective call and, based on information exchanged between the service switching point (SSP ) and the respective service control point (SCP ) and on predefined filter criteria, determines whether the call should be intercepted or not.

The invention relates to a process for providing the subscriber number of the calling subscriber in connection requests routed from a private communications network (PRNET) into a public communications network (PUBNET), and to a service unit (SCP) and a private communications network (PRNET) for the implementation of the process. The service unit (SCP) of the public communications network is triggered for a connection request routed from the private communications network (PRNET) into the public communications network (PUBNET) if the connection request is routed from the private communications network (PRNET) into the public communications network (PUBNET) in a local network area (AREA to AREA ) which does not correspond to the local network area (AREA ) assigned to the calling subscriber (A).
